***Update 5/28/25*** My sweet boy (see story below) has now been on Bernie's Perfect Poop for over two weeks now and I can confidently say that for him (and us), this has made a HUGE difference! After the first week we noticed his bowel movements were much more bulked up and there was a dramatic drop in the instances of his anal glands leaking. We still had a few instances, but definitely decreased. We are now just over two weeks in and for the last week we have had ZERO incidences of anal glad leakage. Not to mention he seems to be less bloated, no more gas, better smelling breath, and much more playful than usual. The only change has been adding in the Bernie's Perfect Poop. Initially we started out giving him 1/2 to 1 tablespoon each day, but he currently gets two heaping tablespoons every day. He loves the taste but he's not a fan of the crunchy texture, so I put it into a bowl and add 1-2 tablespoons of warm water and let it sit a few minutes. It then takes on the texture of a canned/soft dog food, which he LOVES. This has worked so well for our pup that I just purchased the 30 oz. bag. We initially bought the 12.8 oz. bag and we anticipate it lasting us a total of 1 month, so I'm hoping the 30 oz. bag will last us a few months. Well worth the price - our boy is happier and WE are happier not having to deal with his stinky, leaky anal glands!**********************************************I have a four year old mixed breed dog that’s about 35 lbs. He has suffered with bad breath, terrible gas, loose stools, and leaky anal glands since we adopted him. The worst of this situation being his anal glands. They’re always leaky and SO smelly. We tried switching his kibble many times and also added in multiple different types of fibrous foods to help bulk up his stools, but nothing has worked.I then started doing research on various “anal gland” supplements, but I was always hesitant to try them because they are SO expensive ($30 +) and most don’t contain what I believe to be enough fiber to make much of a difference anyway. I knew he likely needed more flaxseed than anything and most supplements did not contain that. Most contain pumpkin powder.So after doing research and comparing products, I finally stumbled upon Bernie’s Perfect Poop here on Amazon. When I saw that it had 600 mg of Pumpkin Powder AND 400 mg Flaxseed per serving, I realized that this was the first product I’ve researched that actually contained enough of these ingredients to POSSIBLY make a difference. So I didn’t hesitate to place an order. My only concern when purchasing was (1) will my dog eat it? And (2) will it actually help?Well, I just received our 12.8 oz bag yesterday and was eager to let my pup test it out. I placed 1/2 a serving size in a bowl for him. Appearance-wise, the supplement looks very much like a fiber cereal for adults. It doesn’t have a terrible smell and is just dry, fibrous bits. (Almost looked like bacon bits.) My dog sniffed it and licked up a little, but because the bits were so small and crunchy, he lost interest. And I knew if I mixed it with his regular food, he’d likely just eat around it. So because it is a fibrous kibble, I added a little bit of warm water (just a few drops at a time to moisten it) and then stirred it up. It then was soft enough for him to lick up. He then LOVED it and was begging for more lol.So this evening we’ll do the same thing – we’ll add a 1/2 serving size with a little warm water and give it to him that way. So even though I can’t say for certainty that this supplement is going to help with the problems my dog has, I am very hopeful that this will help him turn the corner. I promise to come back in a week or two with another update – but so far I’m pleased with the product and my dog appears to be as well!

LOVE IT. My boy is a Blue heeler x American eskimo and he has had a sensitive stomach and a picky eater from day 1! i originally bought the cheese flavor here because lets be honest, who doesnt love cheese? but he wasnt a big fan when i sprinkled it in with his food. I called the company and they were incredible! gave me some good tips on how to mask it in food and treats, also were incredibly kind to send me a small bag of the original flavor to try with him. well let me tell you ! i made the product into almost like a powder or close to and i froze it with bone broth or low sodium chicken broth to use in a lick toy, and he LOVES it. his poop is finally normal. this is most definitely a product worth trying. no weird smell no weird texture. because of the texture that it is, it make it very versatile with how to mix it into things

Absolutely amazing! I will be as detailed as I can (it’s a long read) as I know those are the kind of reviews that really help me to compare to my situation. I have a 5 month old 35lb male English bulldog. He has had diarrhea day and night for months Soooo many visits to the vet along the way and so much money spent and still no diagnosis. I of course immediately thought it was his food but I have weaned him on and off of all of the highest quality foods to no avail. My next step was cooking his meals. Boiled chicken with rice and so on..also to no avail. Then onto the highest quality supplements and vitamins …still no change. My last thought was maybe it’s my drinking water so I changed his water over to Poland Spring water. You guessed it..another failure. Now onto this amazing product. I was so skeptical and on the fence for so long regarding buying this product and had no faith of it working at all but I figured give it a try.Well to my biggest , best surprise, it REALLY WORKS and it works FAST! After trying everything in the world, this product stopped his diarrhea within a day and 1/2. He’s not constipated (one of my fears) instead he now has the “perfect poop” 🤗🐶❤️. Also it is very palatable. My dog loves it. Your product has changed our world and made this dog mommy and little bully so extremely happy!

This stuff really works! My dog had diarrhea for months! I tried so many different diets, had to start from scratch with rice and pumpkin. My 12 yr old daughter suggested Perfect Poop because she saw it on TikToc. I was willing to try anything. After 2 days her diarrhea was gone. Works better than the probiotics that the vet gave us. Definitely recommend!Didn't give it 5 stars because its expensive. I do not use the recommended amount, slightly less so it'll last longer. Still works.

This digestive aid for dogs is a wonderful product! I was struggling with my dog having loose stool and diarrhea for three weeks straight, I took her to the vet and had her stool sample to see if she had any parasites. The vet said no parasites were found. I tried to switch to a couple of different kibble foods as well as giving rice with her meals. Nothing seemed to help until I added this probiotic product to her food, within 24 to 36 hours her stool was perfect like a Tootsie roll. So very pleased and I highly recommend this product.

Bought for my terrier mix and sled dog who were having tummy issues and definitely needed a fiber supplement. Not only did the product work for that, but it appears to have helped with a skin issue one of them was having due to allergies. They took to it right away in their food (I did make sure to follow the guide for starting them off on it), both love the taste, and haven't had any problems with constipation or diarrhea since starting. They've been on it for a little over a month now. Will be getting more soon.
