In an adult rec hockey league you need all the advantages you can get.My last puck of wax lasted nearly 12 years & did it help my on-ice performance?! Absolutely not but did it make me look like I knew what I was doing in the locker room? Yes, yes it did. And that’s the most important part of being a player: making sure the other guys in the licker room have less verbal artillery to use against you than you have to use against them.If I hadn’t used it, would I be the 3 goals a season scorer that I am?
