I bought the pillow because I had surgery to remove a growth near the upper edge of one ear. It did the trick for that purpose. But, In addition, after my ear healed I realized that I could sleep a bit better without the weight of my head on either ear. I am a side sleeper, so now I still use it automatically tweaking its position each time I roll over. Who would have thunk it? Also, if it matters, I am a guy. . .

Perfect pillow. I just got a conch, and upper cartilage piercing, and this pillow is great for sleeping or watching a show at night. It doesn't slip off of my other pillow so there's no real need to adjust throughout the night. I love it.

Your neck has to long enough for comfort or the hole should be lower. I wish the hole was oblong rather than round. It’s not very comfortable for me. When I can keep my ear through the hole, I feel that the upper curl of my ear is looking better and the cartilage is hardening. I’ve slept on one side so long that I didn’t realize it was deforming my ear. I may notice a real difference in a few weeks more. One thing for sure is that I’m glad there are pillows out there for side sleepers. This one may not be perfect for me but I’ll keep looking.

I have cartilage piercings in each ear that have taken a long time to heal, and tend to hurt because I can't comfortably sleep on my back. This has been great to relieve the pressure on my ear and allow me to sleep. I wasn't sure at first since it came vacuum sealed in a half inch think package, but once it filled out it has been the the perfect thickness for side and stomach sleeping. It is surprisingly firm for how thing it was when it arrived, and has not lost any of that since it arrived 2 months ago.

This product works well. There’s more than enough room for my ear and it’s nice and soft. I love everything about it, except for how thin it is for me. I need a bigger pillow to be able to sleep. Luckily one piercing is more healed than the other so I can get by with my normal pillow. If you don’t need that, then this would be a great product for you.

I love my piercings but have tried about 6 different pillows to try and get comfortable. Behold this itty bitty thing with is firm enough for my liking and finally doesn’t pinch my ears. I do like a thicker pillow so I just stack it on top of another one I had and put a larger case over both. No more pain!

This pillow is very soft and has the perfect amount of thickness. This is the first time in a few years that I haven't been woken up from pain in my ear. I normally sleep with two pillows, so I just replaced one with this one. It works great.

Update: I have had this pillow for a few months now and it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have been sleeping on a neck pillow for my piercings and it wasn’t cutting it. This pillow feels like a regular one and the hole is perfect for an ear. It did come wet with a smell but I washed it multiple times and it was fine (may have been a one time issue) BUY THIS PILLOW
