Excellent book on portrait drawing. The author uses exercises that develop your ability to lay out the face of your subject in steps that make sense and help you create a likeness. Drawing accurate likenesses takes lots of drawings to developthe skills and there truly are no short cuts and this is no different however, this process makes the most sense to me

My favorite part is that there are sample pictures with instructions that I can copy/draw.
