My friend and I bought a pair of these for our four-wheelers to use while plowing snow. We used them non-stop all winter in freezing conditions, and left them on the machines to get snowed on all night until they were used the next day. Not only did they continue to work all winter, freezing, thawing and constantly wet, but they never died like we expected. Both units are still working like the day we got them, with untold hours of vibration and use. We have since put them on the truck plow and the Bobcat, and they are plenty bright enough to give great warning. You can't beat the value. We do use he rotating pattern as a standard since, when working in tandem, the flashing flash pattern just about drives the other person crazy... but they are made to catch attention, and they certainly do. The only drawback is that they don't have a magnetic base, but they could easily be glued to an existing magnet with all-weather silicone to overcome that.

Installed on our video cart for air shows, works great, my only suggestion would be that it turn back on to whatever flashing mode it was in when turned off. If you use it and rotating beacon mode you have to turn it on and then double tap to change mode every time

I used this one to replace on my excavator that got knocked off and I gave it a 4/5 because it was priced really cheap. The only 2 things I don’t like about it is; the power cord isn’t that durable and may weather over time being outside in on the roof in the heat and it has 2 modes that flash or strobe but every time you give power it changes modes…there’s no memory or setting it to stay in one mode….I hard wired it in directly to the switch in the cabin.

Good light but really hard to see during the day time. Not recommended for day use.

I don’t normally write a lot of reviews. But I have two of these for my mail truck. See. I bought one and a tree limb landed across the top of my little truck and knocked the first one off to the side and the Orange lense came off. Light was still flashing away just with no lense. However I found the lense and put it back on a few days later when I went back down that road and it screwed right back on and is good as new! That limb did $2,600 to my truck and the first thing it hit was the light and it still works!
