Aliens Ultimate BadassesI got the Aliens board game a few years ago and have been really enjoying playing it with my gaming group. It's relatively rare that you come across a co-operative game that is as interesting and compelling as this one. The ultimate badasses expansion gives you another level of interest to add to the game. I particularly like the experience cards which essentially allow you characters to grow across a campaign. I also really like the Aliens miniatures. They are a bit smaller than i am used to, but they are well sculpted with good quality hard plastic and minimal mould lines.If you enjoy the Aliens game, this is well worth getting.

Adds some essential marines to the game which make it feel more complete, and Dog Tag Cards that expand on marine skills which expand for every mission played. Models require assembly which is not for the faint hearted, and you'll want to paint them too to feel fully immersed.Be warned that the Dog Tag Cards can make the game feel overly complex, particularly for solo play, which is why I make a point of not awarding them to Grunts, although they do add elements that can make the game a little easier. Glad I bought it, just wish the rules were a little clearer.

This is not a game in itself but an expansion pack to main game available separately. The six figures are of a good quality with well defined features. Assembly is required and optionally will require paining which I suspects is the norm for fans of the game series. The other items included, die and cards are also of a high quality. This quality is echoed on the out box which is made from a card which is texture and feels "luxury". My general thought is you generally don't put poor quality products in high quality boxes. Overall, a nice expansion set.

You need this expansion to enjoy the full game. The price is a bit of a piss take.Why they just didn't give you the full squad in the first instance is a guess I'm willing to make. They want our money OBVS.Still having the rest of the squad adds to the game especially if you're doing the campaign. For the price of the game and expansion they could have made the models slightly bigger and or pre built.
