Great gift, easy to put together, good quality, great grip. Look great and good variety of sizes. Multiple uses. Good value for money.

The weights are very good for the price. Yes they are plastic and yes they are bulky, but you get used to it very quickly and so far I have avoided injuring myself or my surroundings. The spin locks are very easy to use and effective at keeping the weight tight on the bar and there is a good selection of weights. My only slight disappointment is the smell. The weights I have had an oily residue that wipes off easily, but leaves a lasting industrial plastics/oil smell that comes off on your hands. Perhaps this wears off overtime, but it wouldn't put me off buying them again.

I've been using the weights for a couple of months now.I use them almost daily but I workout casually so I think these weights are great value for money.CONS:1) The downside is they do smell, even after I've used them for several weeks now. It leaves an unpleasant smell on your hands which I always have to wash off after using the dumbbells (but I suppose you want to wash / shower after working out anyway!)2) Due to the weights plates included (plus the weight of the bar) you can't set up certain weights eg I wanted 5kg but it just doesn't work if you want the weight distributed evenly on both sides.3) even though you can change the weight on the dumbbells, it's not something I want to do mod workout, so you almost need two sets of dumbbells so you can set up different weights.3) They are quite bulkyPROS1) Great value of money2) good gripEven though the cons seem to outweigh the pros i would still recommend them if you only workout casually, as it's great value for money and heavier dumbbells are very expensive!3/5

Very cheap compared to everything else you're like to find on here.They work great and I've only almost slain myself with them a handful of times. Work exactly like you'd expect them to when you stub your toe on them, so don't worry about that.Mine were a bit sticky and slimy when they arrived, but I'm into that so that's a win. I suppose you could easily wipe them down if you wanted to, but I don't judge...though if I did, you should be worried because my arms are all big and stuff now.

My son is very happy with the weights. Ideal size for him. Strong and sturdy. Well worth the money. Arrived on time . Recommend.
