This drawer is made with quality pressboard wood that's beautiful. I learned to take my time and use wood glue when assembling, you will not be unhappy.

I hope this previous answer is incorrect. The product description says that it is wood. The assumption when a product description states "Wood" is that the product is made out of solid wood. The bottoms of the drawers are likely particle board, or the press board the previous answer notes. However, the product should be mainly solid wood if the product description is claiming "Wood".

Q: Looks like a good sturdy end table..going to use it for grandson. Wondering if the oil finish gives off an odor?
