Exposed wire literally crumbles apart. The aluminum center almost turns to powder I’ve never seen anything like it.

I am running a 4 amp. poe camera on a pole about 75 feet from a 3.8 amp power source, just under req. voltage but from a 150 foot control cat 6 cable from my house. this wire delivers all req. amperage at that distance without Voltage Drop. copper coated aluminum is good wire in my book. My house is supplied by a 350 foot buried alum. cable underground and delivers high amperage. I had copper wire run to the poe but it could`nt deliver enough amperage at that distance. would not hesitate to buy again.

I used this 12 GA wire to connect my solar panels to the controller and the controller to the batteries. It is working fine.
