I used it well for both weighted pull-ups and dips, and it is very solidly built. One minor inconvenience I noticed is the added transparent rubber part on the connecting strap. Its awkward length sometimes causes it to shift to one side. When adding weight, if it shifts, adjusting it back takes unnecessary effort. It might be better if this transparent part were longer, had a more secure central fastening mechanism, or if this strap were sold separately as an extra option.Other than that, I have no complaints. It is very well made, and I believe it will last for at least five years without any issues.

Good support for people with lower back issues
I've never previously used a weight belt before, but after straining my back I wanted to see if that would provide additional support. My hope was that I would not need to stop everything with the aid of the belt. To my delight, the belt did provide support that I was looking for, though it is not a fix for the back injury. This belt was easy to get on and the sizing system provided by the company worked correctly. In order to put the belt on it's simple, you just line it up above your hips and put the strapped through the belt loop and you can pull it as tight as you need and then velcro the remaining strap to secure it. I've worn it for an extended period of time and the belt stays in place. If you want to do weighted dips or Pull-Ups it has functionality for you to attach a weight to the belt for that purpose. The metal Loops for that mainly stay out of the way of regular working out, with potentially the exception of crossbody curls

Durable and works as described.
I used to perform weighted chins and dips with a dumbell between my inner thighs, but it was rather awkward because the dumbell would eventually slip loose and instead of concentrating on the exercise, I was more concerned about keeping the dumbell in place. I purchased this 2 in 1 lifting and dip belt for the following reasons: I like the closed belt system as opposed to the open belt system when attaching weights for chins and dips because the closed belt system stays on your waist more securely. I like the rope system for holding the weight plates instead of the traditional chains. The rope is quieter, lighter and easier to handle without compromising strength. You can tell by the feel of the rope that it is strong and durable and capable of holding a lot of weight. The rope is the same material used in climbing and boasts an impressive 350 lbs capacity which is way beyond what any human would attach to this belt. There is plenty of safety leeway here. The belt is of good durable quality with Velcro enclosure and can be used alone as a lifting belt. Overall, I am happy and highly impressed with this 2 in 1 lifting/dip belt. I can tell this 2 in 1 belt will last me a lifetime by the overall construction and superior material used in manufacturing this product.

Very good so far
Bought this belt for weighted dips and pullups at my Pretty Friends gym (have you heard of it?).It's quite comfortable to wear and feels very secure when strapped in. The rope is quiet and won't scratch equipment like a chain might. I haven't pushed the weight limit on it, but it feels solid and well constructed.Note that the center backing of the belt is solid and won't fold. The belt just barely fits in a standard drawstring backpack with not much room for anything else. So if you have other equipment, you'll need a larger gym bag.If you need a very heavy duty weight belt, I'd go with a leather one. But for most gym goers, this belt will work well.

I am a belt collector
It seems like I am the only one who actually bought this product. So here are my thoughts.Compared to other dip belts, this one is pretty good. Much more comfortable than a chain belt. The angle of the d rings also help distribute the load better. I have the fit guy belts, and I believe this one is better. The d rings on this belt is larger and the weight attachment is rated to hold more. Also, since you can get this belt in different sizes, there is no excess when tightening the belt compared to the fit guy belts. Also, my favorite aspect is the locking mechanism compared to the fit guy dip belt. I do wish it was a quick lock of some sort, but this is the next best thing. As for support as an actual weight lifting belt, I feel my other belts do a better job. This is the best weighted dip belt for me, an ok weight lifting belt for squats and deadlifts, and only ok for belt squats attachments. So if you are looking for a belt for weighted exercises, this is the one. If you are looking for something that can do everything great, this one is only ok. It's better to get a dedicated belt for the specific situation you will be using it for.
