BEST smell and flavor

I received this product and it was broken. All I wanted was a replacement but I was told that it can't be done because it's not eligible for refund. Well... I don't want a refund, I want a replacement that isn't broken! I don't think that is too much to ask for after I spent money on it!Edit: I thought I had posted this long ago so my apologies!The small business personally contacted me and replaced the item to make it right! So... I wish I could break things down,For Amazon and their customer Service - 0- 1 starsFor the product itself- I will say 4 stars. The flavor is not very strong so depending on what you are making you have to be careful that in order to get the flavor you want it won't be too much liquid.The small business that sells the product within Amazon I give a perfect 10! They were very adamant about doing whatever they could to make things right when they realized I received a bad/damaged product under their name even though it didn't come straight from them. I wish more places had this type of Customer Service!

I love to bake and am known for my cakes. I am always trying to find way to make them better though. I was skeptical about purchasing this item because I wanted to use something a little different then just a normal extract, but i decided to try it for experimenting purposes.When I first opened the bottle and smelled it, it smelled very strong like a strong lemon peel. I tried it in my lemon pound cake and here is what I thought. I think that while the cake was still warm, it kind of had an after taste to it and it was very lemony. I thought I may have placed too much flavoring in. After it cooled completely, the cake was heaven! Some of the intenseness of the flavoring seemed to have settled with the cooling of the cake. Anyway, as usual, I received many positive comments and the cake was yummy! This is a wonderful product and a great alternative to extracts. I can’t wait to try their other flavors!
