Works great!
I used this product for hair loss and for blemishes on my face. Within a couple of days i saw a amazing difference. Its been 2.5 weeks and my hair has grown and my face it clear. Its best to mix with shampoo and a facial cleanser.

Great price. Use first in your routine before hydrating well to avoid dry, damaged skin.
Good value! I mix this with my witch hazel toner at a 5% concentration, shaking each time before use as it isn't completely soluble. It should go on before most heavier, hydrating prouducts. Moisturize after qpplication since this is a drying agent. I follow with niaminicide infused face lotion with a retinol alternative that isn't as drying as retinol. Use this prouduct sparingly at first, and monitor any skin irritation that occurs. I use everyday before my moisturizing routine, sometimes twice a day depending on if I have to shower or wash my face. This prouduct is supposed to act as a chemical exfoliant, minimizing fine lines. My skin is very clear now, though it's hard to say how much of it has to do with this, rather than my full skin regiment.

It's good
This stuff is very powerful for diy skincare. Be careful and remember that less is more! The SA itself seems to be pure and clean.

It works very well. I suggest mixing it with ethanol rather than isopropyl alcohol
There were two ways I could have gone to make a 30% solution for cosmetic purposes. One way uses isopropyl alcohol, the other ethanol (grain alcohol/Everclear). I was only able to find 70% rubbing alcohol in the local stores, and I found a solution I made using it did not work very well--there are higher grades of rubbing alcohol made, but they don't sell them around here.I subsequently obtained some ethanol from a friend who makes herbal products, and I found I could make a solution that seems equally as effective as the commercially produced 30% solution I first tried several years ago (I tried three different 30% formulas, and only the first kind worked really well; I was pleased to duplicate its effects with my own solution). One can make a solution by calculating the volume of the salicylic acid, or with a lab scale. I used the lab scale, which took a little messing around with to make sure I was doing it right, but my guess is that the result is more precise. It has now been over a week since I applied the 30% salicylic acid solution I made to areas of my face that needed a little help, and the chemical peel action came out just right, not too strong, but promoting an even peel where applied. This product seems to work as intended--30% peels are generally not cheap, and this bag of salicylic acid powder is an economical investment.
