great desk for the money, perfect for a home office, large bedroom or dorm.
I actually really like this desk and it exceeded my expectation at the price mark. During assembly I was a little concerned with how flimsy it was feeling, but once together it is pretty damn sturdy.I can confirm that when assembled correctly the "L Shape" cannot be reversed and is exactly as you see in the photo. I suppose you could reverse it but that would mean the front legs of the long piece would be backward. The desk is a little smaller in total length than I expected from the photos but big enough for a small home office, I currently have a dual monitor system and laptop set up and still plenty of room to spare. Also, the connecting round corner piece which make it an "L shape" is floating, meaning that there is no leg underneath the support it. It basically sits on brackets on either side of the other two pieces, so It can not handle a lot of weight. A monitor would be fine, but I worry that anything heaver than say 20lbs on that once piece would probably rack it right off.The desk top has a slight textured feel to it which is great, seems to be some type of wrap that actually goes around the particle board. But it feels premium and is scratch resistant.Assembly:The desk is pretty easy to put together and there are a minimal amount of pieces to worry about, took me about an hour total from un-boxing to full assembly at a leisure pace with a bathroom break in between. One note that I have on assembly are the long screws that holds the table tops and front board to the rails. If you look at how they actually screw in to the pre-drilled holes before you start you will notice that there are some plastic white "caps" with a screw head underneath, and this is what the screws actually bite in to. One issue I faced was that the holes on the white caps were obviously misaligned with the holes in the wood, probably from movement during shipping. So that if you were to try and put the screw it, it would actually bite on to anything. If you have a problem putting the screws in, try turning the white cap heads a little with a key or your finger to align the hole, it requires some patience but you will get it.I assembled with a power drill, if you go this route be very careful and drill slowly as the power form the drill can easily crack the wood and/or bed the aluminum posts.Overall the desk exceeded expectation

Perfect gaming desk **1 year update**
The media could not be loaded. I picked up two of these and made them into a U shape gaming command center for my woman and I to shred on. Very very very pleased with how this came out. But don’t take my word for it look for yourself. *note* I did not change the way the desk are supposed to go. I have the long end meeting up with the short meaning both desk look exactly as shown in the picture just put together. As far as I know you can’t put both long ends in the middle. Setup was a breeze although I am used to working with my hands. Screw gun and drill will help speed up the process 10x over.****1 year update****A lot has happened in a year with these desks. Countless hours of gaming and my girlfriend and I have transitioned from ps4 to pc gamers with heavy towers and both multi monitor setups. Safe to say I might be putting some stress on these desks but she is holding up with not a single complaint.****2 year update****Down to one desk, not because it broke but because I kicked my ex out lol I now have 3 monitors on this desk with one being a 34” curved ultrawide mounted with a clamp to the back of the desk (I added plywood for re-enforcement) mounted above my 24.5” 240hz Alienware fps monitor with just a 27” asus monitor strait up on the side. Desk is still going strong with no complaints even though I took it apart and flipped the direction of the L.

The wobbly desk with sturdy stubbornness
The media could not be loaded. At first I was perplexed with the idea of getting a desk. They can either be too cheap to properly function (a carboard box would do you better) or you're shilling out your next rent check to get one that's even worth it. I have a rather ... unfortunately "average" sized room with exceedingly high charm and personality if I do declare. Although ... it was missing something, it lacked DEPTH and an average desk wouldn't give it the pop it needed. Plus my one one closet was demoted to sheer storage so I no longer needed to look within; similar to my love life. However enough of my tangent, my escapades have gotten a little out of hand recently. When this lovely accent to my room arrived I had to assemble it myself. Took a minute to catch my bearings as you had to choose the way you wanted to go about it:Have your desk in the exceedling distasteful [_ formation... where it could be comparable to that of a sewage excrement.OrThe clearly superior _] formation with great cherry notes and a rustic nature to its demeanor. Allowing the full potential of flavors to escape into it's surroundings.Though I must say, fiddling with this was a bit of a nuisance. You have to have plenty of room just to mozy this large, yet light desk around. Quite awkward to boot, [-5 points] but once you find it's resting place it's all worth it. The slim nature allowes for it to make the room to feel open without keeping it bare. The leg room is decent, being an "average" build myself it doesn't feel restrictive. [+6 points] though the adjustable feet could be easier to set up. I find myself befuddled as I cannot for the life of me seem to set them right. It's as though I'm always unscrewing it to be properly flush with the floor. [-10 points] besides that unbecoming venture. I've been riding it for a year now and besides the occasional wobble out of nowhere. She seems to hold it well with all the weight I've added atop. Hoping my ex could've been the same... We all have weight that comes with us. I was just hoping she'd understand it! Oh do I miss her... Never the less a solid purchase that has gotten better the more I invest in it!
