My teeth have shifted a bit so that the space between them is a bit wider. Before that my teeth were actually tight together and the only floss I could use was dental tape that was flat and slippery. It was great until my teeth were farther apart. Now that my teeth aren’t so tight together, I had to double the tape and regular floss to do a decent job at flossing. I had my latest dental appointment and the dental hygienist mentioned that I was missing areas of my teeth when I flossed. I’ve always been a flosser and my teeth are usually pretty clean. I’ve never been told that I’m missing places while flossing. The hygienist recommended this particular floss to help with the wider spaces. I like this floss; it does a great job at expanding so that it cleans between my teeth better. There’s a place in my bottom, rear molars that shreds regular floss and it sometimes gets stuck but this floss does not shred there. It does get a little stuck but slides out easier than the regular flosses. I don’t especially like the taste and wish there was a mint flavor but I’m getting used to it. I initially thought it was a bit on the expensive side but there’s a lot of floss. Plus the packaging is truly recyclable (except the inner plastic bag that holds the floss but at least the plastic is minimal). I like flossing; it makes my teeth feel clean and I like this dental floss. I miss the minty freshness of my former floss but it’s not a deal breaker. I would recommend this floss to anyone who has wider gaps between their teeth.

I'm sure there are people out there who enjoy flossing. I loathe flossing. I mean, I like the way my teeth feel after flossing, but I resent the time it takes to floss, and I usually remember right before I want to go to bed and am already sleepy. So, the LAST thing I want is a floss that snaps off, doesn't expand, and tastes like mint., ugh. Dr. Tung's is durable, gentle, and thankfully comes in a soothing cardamom flavor. Bonus points for the eco-friendly packaging. There's a schmoo of plastic on the inside, but they are trying. Hurray. Five stars.

I love this floss! My dentist recommend it and I gave one to each family member. I appreciate that it is toxin free, its crazy how many bad things they put in things as simple as floss. It is easy to use and does the job quickly. The taste is fresh without being waxed, chemical flavor. I highly recommend and my family will continue to use!

I had been a long-time (probably 15 years) user of Glide floss, up until very recently when Glide changed their floss design to become horrendous. I started looking for a Glide replacement, namely something that would fit between my tighter tooth gaps. I also had a secondary goal of trying to find floss that might have less plastic in it.I tried some silk flosses, but those were all a bit too thick and required more work to get in between my teeth, plus they were more like thread, which made them a bit more "sharp" than Glide.Then I tried Dr. Tung's floss, and I was sold right away. It fits between my teeth almost as well as the original Glide style, but it easily cleans *twice* as well as Glide ever did! This came as a noteworthy surprise that Glide floss had been inferior for cleaning for all these years. Dr. Tung's looks somewhat wide/thick, but it flattens when pulled tight against a tooth surface, which makes it slide in between tooth gaps easier. It's also more like a loose-fiber weave, so it does not have sharp "edges" like the silk floss that is singular string-like. This gives it a wider cleaning surface, hence the superior cleaning.In conclusion, I was concerned that the change in Glide would lead me to have to compromise, but now I realize it was a blessing in disguise that led me to find a superior floss.

This is my 2nd purchase of the floss. The floss while not as gliding, it does the job well and the most important part is that it’s free of the forever chemicals. Given that I floss a few times a day, this product gives me a piece of mind that I’m not swallowing some chemicals every time I floss.

The first time I used Dr. Tung’s Smart Floss, I was hooked on the clean feeling it gives your entire mouth, which is the only thing it leaves behind. Conventional floss removes food particles, but leaves behind the thin slimy layer of plaque film that Dr. Tung’s lifts completely away. I always keep a pack in my purse and buy it in bulk so that I never run out. I also use Dr. Tung’s tongue scraper and it makes my mouth feel so clean, in the morning I forget that I didn’t brush my teeth yet.

I have tight tooth spacing and could only use Glide in the past. But Glide would tear frequently and contains chemicals I don't want.This smart floss doesn't rip, expand in use and is free from chemicals I don't want. And it fits (with some effort) between my tightly-spaced teeth. Love it.

Great natural floss, as it should be. Love the minimal and creative packaging. You don't need alot either. I use about 8in once a day. This beats all the crappy floss or synthetic types out in the market. One point off for the price due to hike. I found the best price at WFM.
