I just love watching this thing spin in the breeze. I took the advice of someone else in the comments and buried the base in the ground and have had no issues with the rod. Our ground is clay underneath the top soil so it's holding extremely well as we get high winds up here on the mountain, 40 mph gusts +. It was easy to assemble and had all the parts. I saw that other folks were having issues with the bulb not lighting up, but that wasn't a priority for me. I wanted the spinning parts to work and they do. The light, which is working, was a nice bonus. I have been keeping an eye on the hubs as some in the comments said they tend to loosen, but so far so good mine are tight.

The media could not be loaded. Put together after it arrived in about 10 minutes with no issues. I put it in the ground and waited until a breeze came through my back yard and it did not disappoint. Trying to figure out why some people are having issues, or why it’s a ‘frequently returned item’, but my experience has been positive. Looks great, functions as expected and I’m excited to see the light come on. I would recommend without reservation.

There was an unmarked box at my doorstep. After awhile we figured out that this was the spinner. There were no instructions on how to assemble this. It included a tool that made IKEA tools look great. If I did a god job it should spin!!

I bought this back in 2023. It’s a pc of junk. We’ve had to replace so many PCs because the wind blows it apart. Had to fix the pole it was on. I do not recommend this item unless they’ve now fixed it.
