OTTERBOX Defender Series Case for iPhone SE (2nd Gen - 2020) & iPhone 8/7 (NOT Plus) - Retail Packaging - Black

This is my third Otter Box Defender case (for an IPod Touch, an IPad and now the IPhone 7). I did have a cheaper imitation version of this product for my IPhone 4S that I recently traded for the 7.In my opinion, this is the best case on the market for a combination of protection, fit & style. I have dropped my various devices with no damage. My sister in law has this case for her IPhone 6 and she is also confident with the protection it provides since she has not only dropped the phone but has inadvertently flipped (effectively thrown) the device with no subsequent damage. Further, in my opinion the case is good looking and the fit has been exact, I plan to buy a Commuter series for my wife based on the experience (nice look and protection) I've had with my grand kids (I bought one for each of them).One issue I have is the difficulty (at least for me) in installing the device within the case. It came fully assembled, so you have to disassemble the case with vague instructions (pics that are not clear). I called Otter Box customer service and the person walked me through the process. While following his instruction, I slightly tore the bottom of the case. He indicated that they would sent me a replacement case before I could even voice a complaint with him on the phone.This is indeed a 5 star product with 5 star customer service.

Bought this for my father in-law. It was a awesome up grade from the case he was using.

First rate product as always with Otter Box

I’ve had this case since highschool. It has saved me countless times. The most impressive being in a 5 gallon bucket of paint (water based parking lot paint) for over an hour. And several falls off a truck bed at speed. She’s a bit beat up but I’d be lying if I said I won’t miss the ole dirty girl. Took me a week of having the new case to even put it on. Before I had this case I broke so many phones my dad got pissed and got this back in the day, I have the same phone I did 9 years ago and now with a fresh case that will last me another 9 years. Thanks OtterBox for still making them how they used to! Only difference is the circle cutout on the back which I don’t mind at all. Highly recommend.

Purchased the the cover for my step daughter and she loves it.

I wanted (needed?) to replace my otter box for my IPhone 7 (yea, i still have a 7) - my old case was 6+ years old...although the case was still functional - it was time. The new case came in record time, the product was in new packaging, and was exactly what i remembered from 6 years ago. I changed out my case, and my IPhone 7, also 6+ years old, looked new...thanks to the otter box. Knowing the results of having used the box for so long, i was glad to be able to find the same product, still manufactured to a high standard, at a reasonable price. My family says the box makes the phone "klunky"......seriously, my phone still fits in my pocket and it fits comfortably into my car phone holder - I'm planning on another 6 years from my IPhone 7.
