be careful with the tension spring when installing. the ejection power gets weak pretty fast and requires new batteries too often. I would not trust the quick eject on my life. For me, this works well as a safe to keep my firearm away from my kids but with easy access to me and my wife if needed. I have it mounted in my suv and it works great for our needs.

Great set-upIt can easily roll over and place my thumb on reader and the unit pops-open...it allows for multiple fingerprints, so my wife's is on my bedside unit, and mine on hers...Very easy install - 4 screws and done!Configuring fingerprint requires some patience - but that's too get an accurate read of your finger for opening.Highly recommend for hidden easy access.

The Biometric slider Handgun Safe by Langger is amazing. It was easy to mount on the side of my nightstand ( I used multiple strips 30lb hanging tape that supported it well). The slide action is very smooth on opening, and the biometrics and security code were easy to setup. Thank you Langgar for this amazing device!

Pretty well built. The finger print sensor is a little fussy so practice with it. I will slide my hand from the edge over to the sensor to guarantee my print hits it where it needs to the first time. If you miss it will beep - not what I what to hear in the dark of night. So practice. I like the slide out mechanism. It’s smooth and pretty quick and quiet. I trust this device to keep little fingers out and to work when I need it to. It’s pretty tough to get exactly what you want to fit every one’s specific needs but this comes close. Bought a cheap plastic one advertised on FB. That thing was total junk. This is worth the price. Might buy a second….reviewed after nearly a year of owning.

We purchased two of these safes because we have kids and wanted something they couldn’t get into. These are fantastic and easy to use. If you have a gun, you need one of these.

I bought one of these handgun safes and the construction is fantastic solid steel very good slides on the drawer. keypad very easy to use. The first one I received the biometric reader wasn’t working properly. Customer service responded immediately with some troubleshooting advice when that didn’t work they sent me out a new safe. I had it within 36 hours. The customer service was fantastic. I would’ve given it five stars based on the Construction alone, but the fingerprint reader is a little finicky. Even the second one I have your finger has to be placed perfect in order for it to read it.
