After several uses, machine wash on the gentle cycle for a deeper clean. Make sure to hang dry only (no dryer)

Q: I prefer my baby to eat on a plate than on the plate printed on this bib. My question is will the plate suction properly on this bib?

No suction on the bib. It protects them and chair from the mess so they can interact with food they way they need to.

Q: Does this prevent suction bottom bowls from staying in place?

Probably, as it covers the high chair tray
