Not sure if this is true to size
Not sure if this is true to size… cake recipe called for a 25cm ring mould and it was way too much mixture for the tin and ended up overflowing in the oven.I now put some in a single layer tin first and the rest in this and it works really well- mix turns out perfectly

Good quality bakeware likely to prove durable...
Formegolose is an Italian brand of bakeware I'd not previously encountered. Good to have an opportunity to add to my collection and I was interested to try a brand that was new to me. Like all bakeware, you should wash prior to first use and dry thoroughly. I don't put any bakeware in the dishwasher, tempting as it may be, as it could affect the finish or become scratched.Strictly speaking this cake tin is for savarins. A savarin is a cake that includes yeast that's soaked in sweet syrup and often has fruit on the top. But of course if you'd just like to make ring shaped cakes now and again, this savarin tin will do very well - especially if you want a simpler design than a Bundt tin which are often more elaborate.I've not yet made a savarin - I must at some point now I have the tin. I intend to use it mainly for ring cakes. I have seen a recipe online for a Mary Berry Cherry Cake made using a savarin tin but I see her tin is a little larger so I'll need to adapt it. A good quality piece of bakeware - nice gauge, not too heavy. Simply use cake release spray or grease the tin before adding your mixture as a 'failsafe'. Although the BPA free coating is non-stick, it's always worth doing this just in case. With reasonable care, this cake tin should last for years,

Not over impressed.
The non stick is not very good despite greasing the mold.
