Absolutely Excellent Bow
This is an excellent bow!I watched videos on the Blackhunter for weeks on YouTube and happened open this Obert unmarked. This is like a Blackhunter, but with some refinement. The limbs are flushed up with the risers. The tips are a bit more refined. Comes with rabbit fur silencers, horse hair and bow stringer. It seems a bit closer to center-shot than others I've seen. The only complaint I have is that the serving is centered on the string, but that puts it a bit low on the bow. Could also come with a nock but not complaining! I'd also like a print out with brace height included (set it at 7.5").Can't beat the 50lb bow for $80! Even better with the accessories.

Good bow, but string broke immediately.
Good bow, well packaged but string broke immediately after putting it on. Luckily I have a deer seeker recurve that's uses the same limbs and string length.

Great bow
I normally shoot a 50 pound recurve. I bought this 30 pound so that I could practice with less fatigue I will say this bow is pretty amazing for the price. Shoots really well 20 to 30 yards can group it in half dollar size, at 40+ I can keep it on target. If you decide to get this bow, I know for a fact it will be money well spent. I’m most likely going to end up getting the 40 and 50 pound models as well.

helpfull hints
shipping took 16 days from china. excellent. bow is outstanding. nothing fancy to look at but a great little bow. actual dimensions (tip to tip) 62 inches. string channel to string channel 60 inches. this bow is advertised as both 58 and 60 inches (not sure how they got that). the bow is very noisy and the only shortcoming OUT OF THE BOX. i replaced the string (57 inches) and the noise virtually disappeared. the (B50 14 strand) 57 inch string is perfect. Bradco_Enterprise (on ebay) has great strings for less than $9. gives you a brace height just short of 8 inches. i ordered the 40 pound bow based upon some reviews that the bow was stronger than actual rating. not true. this bow is a 40 pound bow. whatever you do - use a bow stringer to attach the string. the limbs are fine, unfortunately a lot of folks don't do it right and warp or break the limbs. you won't be disappointed with the Black Hunter bow.

A bow for experienced archers and beginners alike!
I only have good things to say about this bow! The build quality is exceptional and I couldn't believe it only cost around $100, when I took it into my archery pro shop they had never seen one before and everyone came over to look at it. The conclusion was that I got a great deal and would be able to grow and hunt with the bow.It has a very smooth feel and is relatively quiet, on my second day of shooting, I was already hitting center target at 20 and 30 yards. I bought the 50 lbs model and can already tell that it is to heavy for me right now(35lbs is actually all you need, especially for a new archer), in saying that, the customer service reviews at Obert is actually why I bought this bow and when I reached out they were quick to respond and sorted everything out with no issues, way to go!10/10 will be back to buy from Obert again, I'll be purchasing this exact bow for my wife albeit at a lighter draw weight.

Great bow for how much it is
The media could not be loaded. Shot about 200 arrows through it so far and 0 issues. Simple to throw together and string outof the box. Feels good quality. I’m just getting into archery and wanted something cheap to mess around with and learn more and this has been great so far. Definitely worth the money
