Nice lightweight 2 piece 12' pole and was delivered in a 6 1/2 ft tall skinny box. Pentair also has a 16' model. Many other poles are 3 pieces. The compression fitting and handle cushion are all available & replaceable if they wears out and pole will last a lifetime. Get 2 poles so somebody else can help you get that pond skimmed quickly. This is the second pole I have had. The first pole handle broke while using a net to remove leaves from the pool. The weight of the wet leaves caused a bend in the pole and it later broke. Watch out for heavy weight at the end of the pole when extended.

Thought I'd try based on brand. Not nearly as good as others. This doesn't lock well and constantly comes loose collapsing while brushing pool. Ones sold by Crucial are much (and more expensive). Those were listed as blue anodized metal but I got black ones that I think are a plastic-I don't care as they function great. Solid, lightweight and good locking mechanism.
