Uni-ball Deluxe Rollerball Pen, 12 Blue 0.7mm, Smooth Writing, Waterproof Ink, Fine Point, Office Supplies

I use to order these and other supplies for our office from a big office supply store not any more. Amazon prices are way less for the same product! These pens by uniball have been used in our office for years. They write so good! The ink dries quickly and doesn’t smear. The size of the pen makes it easy to use no matter what size hand you have . Best office pen hands down pretty, functional, and way to keep up with. I have started buying all our office supplies from Amazon for same products and less money

These are my go-to pens! thirty years ago, I took a two day written bar examination with them! And to this day I still prefer these pens over any others! the ink flows smoothly, dries quickly, and lasts a long time. The design and grip of the pen are sleek and work for my needs. While there are no grip enhancements, the thinness of the pen keeps my hand from cramping, which is much better that the thicker pens with grips attached! Highly recommended!

These pens are my favorite because the ink and rollerball glide VERY easily when I write--especially when I take shorthand and want nothing to slow me down! You DO have to watch when you put the cap back on that you don't stab yourself--the fine rollerball is quite pointy. The ink will smear if you try to write on shiny paper, or cardstock, so in those instances, use a regular ballpoint pen (a biro).

I've been buying and using these pens for at least 12 years now, other than fountain pens I'll never use anything else. The black is dark and maintains a dark color with no smudges or smearing but the blue just pops and is quite vibrant so it's my usual every day carry pen.Two cautions, make sure the cap is on tight before putting in a pocket, if the rollerball contacts anything it will start dispensing ink immediately and it's nearly impossible to get the ink out of most fabrics (I ruined a dress shirt and a cotton undershirt because I didn't get one pen fully capped, it took a couple scrubs to get the ink off my skin, it's that durable and I also had one discharge in a briefcase, I still have a stain on the inside) and second caution, these pens are so smooth and good that people WILL try to steal them from you every chance they get. I only take one at a time to work after I kept a box at work and noticed them slowly disappearing. They're THAT good.

I'm somewhat a pen snob and I was highly surprised by this pen. It writes beautifully and does not clump or bleed through. Also, it glides over the paper with little effort. Buy them!!!

I found out about these from seeing Bill Gates in a documentary holding one of these up to his mouth. I think Gates used the ultra fine or extra fine, but it was definitely an archival quality uni-ball Deluxe. I used these for years for business and journaling. I use the blue so I can differentiate originals from B&W photocopies. Lately, and I do not know if this is because I am applying too little or too much pressure, but every two or three words I have to go over a line again in order to get the ink to come out of the pen. I switched to an archival quality purple art pen. I am giving these four out of five stars because maybe I just got a bad batch. A year ago I would have given these five stars. These served me well for years.

Clean and professional looking. Best part is that it clips to your shirt pocket for easy and quick access. Also it is upside down and does not leak into your shirt pocket. Can't tell you how many shirts I had to throw away from leaking pens costing so much more. No longer a problem. Please never stop making these or let me know if that becomes a plan and I will stock up. Width on the write is "fine". It is not like the black covered Uniball pens that have a medium width. Very smooth to write with.
