The ladder that came with my pool was very wobbly and I did not trust it cuz I had back surgery so I got these instead ladder going into the pool and then steps makes it a lot nicer and also gives you a seat for those grandkids that are still a little unsure about the water

I was very excited to receive this product. I had to watch YouTube videos to put it together, because the instructions sent are horrible. After finally getting it together I realized it is HORRIBLE design. The four steps have to be weighed down. They provide large ziplock bags to put sand in. After doing that and trying to use the steps the bags fall off of the ledge and knock the bottom two steps off. The steps are wobbly (the bottom of the pool is not unlevel). The outside ladder do not attach to the four steps inside. They are supposed to sit on top of the wobbly steps. They obviously do not. I decided to return the product. I do not have the original boxes at this point. Good luck finding a boxes large enough to return the item. I was provided one UPS label. I had the items packed in three large mini refrigerator boxes. The one label was insufficient. So I contacted the seller. The seller then provided one additional shipping label for FedEx. That was obviously a problem. So I contacted the seller again. They then provide an additional FedEx label. So I now have the items shoved in two boxes. Due to the size of these items the boxes are misshapen, and FedEx will not accept the boxes because they are not stackable. I contact the seller to get UPS labels and I am informed that they cannot provide UPS labels. Their advice is to go to a grocery store or retail store and get boxes. I do not know where they think I am supposed to get boxes large enough to ship this back, if two mini refrigerator boxes won't fit it. I should have kept the boxes it came in yes but because I did not I am now stuck with a very expensive ladder that is crap. All of this to say DO NOT buy this item and if you do be sure to keep the original boxes to ship the horrible ladder back.

great quality service, sent missing part out immediately; but, the product doesn’t care about the consumer and is designed poorly. It’s extremely simple but a chore to put together. You have to drill your own holes, and both sides must be near completely level since you are fitting 3 pieces together. There is no lock for the outside ladder portion. The margins for the adjustable portions increment too much. If you’re connecting this to a deck or just using the in pool portion this might be better suited. The material is durable but at the product price point, so is steel. This is plastic resin, no aluminum or steel - not even for the support legs or handrails. The in pool steps are nice, however.

Not happy with these, to be honest.Especially as much as we paid. We gave them a fair try and used them for a few months.They were easy to put together.We originally did not receive the 2nd carton so we had to wait for it to be shipped to be able to put these together and use. The 2nd piece somehow never made it out of their warehouse. Now, I *will* give the company an excellent customer service rating. They were responsive, apologetic and quick to fix their error. That i do appreciate and I dealt with only good people. I will definitely give them that.That being said, these seriously under-perform for the price. Steps going in are not spaced well. They are too far apart. I am above average height at 5'7" and have to really stretch to reach the next step.It's not sturdy at all--it's wobbly, and there's nothing to do about it if you don't have a deck. If you have a deck they're attached to, you may not have this problem. But freestanding, even with 100lbs of sand blocks on them inside the pool, they are wobbly. There is only enough room to use two of the square plastic sand weights, and it's not enough.I personally felt safer on the regular ladder that comes with the pool, but we got these because I need double knee replacement.They are not as strong as they claim to be, either. At 75 lbs under the listed weight limit you wouldn't expect the plastic to bow downward as you step on each part. It's actually quite scary between the wobble and the plastic seeming weak. Will it break? I don't know, but it sure seems weak and I would not want to be 75 lbs heavier and step on it. Being in the sunlight i don't expect the plastic to improve-we all know it only gets worse.We would not buy again, even at half price. And I REALLY wanted these to work. I NEEDED them to work. Keep these things in mind if debating hard on whether or not to buy. Even if you only weigh 100 lbs and have a deck to attach them to, you're still going to have problems reaching the next step. I'm still sad they're not great because I don't think there's something better.
