On-Stage QK-10B Professional Quik-Release Microphone Adapter, Black

I did have to return this item but that was because it doesn't work with a retro microphone which has the audio hook up right next to where the stand connects. There isn't enough room for both. However, when I had it on the stand, it fit perfectly and the release was very easy. Definitely worth it if you have the right setup.

It’s doing it’s job, but not on microphone stands. Like many have stated the release button is just so easy to press and release the clip, but I didn’t buy these for mics, I would have chosen something else for sure. I chose these for my wireless system’s antennas. I have two paddle antennas so it was a pain to have to mount these all the time and I looked for a quick release method. This has worked out great for me. Fast and easy, and the weight of the antennas is fine with these, plus they have withstood some high winds. I just wouldn’t trust these around hands because of the ease at which the release button can be pressed as stated, otherwise great product and I’m happy with it.

although the personal studio monitor has a bit of weight to it, the QR attachment holds the monitor reliably, even if a little wobbly.

I ordered two. One came and fits the thread correctly but is wobbly in the quick disconnect so it makes my setup look CHEAP. The second one fits the quick disconnect port nice and tight, awesome right? Wrong, the thread does NOT fit the microphone at all. Slides right in. The metal used on the threads looks so cheap and is likely the culprit with both issues. Don't bother unless you like gambling on hoping you get a quality functioning product. I wouldn't bank on it lasting long either way.

Works great with my Shure B52. This product makes my setup faster. Wish I had this years ago.

Simple product. Get them for all your stands and all your mics and this will save you time and most importantly of all it will save the threads on you mic clips and stands. Main reason for the purchase is the clip on a senn mk416 has plastic threads and eventually get cross threaded and then you have to buy another mic clip. This solves that problem. And quick mic swap out are a definite bonus.

If you're considering this for a microphone-sized device, or something of very light weight, it will be fine for that.Consider that I used it for attaching a Roland Cube 30 Amp to a tripod mic stand when you see the 3 stars I gave it.The quick-release button depresses easily enough, however it doesn't always immediately release the snap-in shaft. That means I have to tug the two pieces apart, which is awkward when one of them is a mic stand and the other is a boxy little amp.I might be asking too much of this piece by using it under an amp, even a small one that weighs less than 10 lbs, and perhaps 3 stars isn't quite fair.This appears to be well made, though the threaded chrome is a little bit cheezy looking it still works fine.The problem with my application was that there is simply too much slop in the fitment of the quick release shaft. In other words, the chrome piece and black piece do not firmly grip each other, causing quite a bit of wobble.Once again, not a problem for a microphone, since you'd never notice it leaning slightly, but with an amp on top, it leaned over a lot, and it sort of rocked back and forth when I adjusted the knobs or plugged into the back of the amp.
