My nails have been splitting and peeling at the ends for months- which is a problem I have never experienced in nearly 10 years of home manicures. I was struggling to fix it with cuticle oil, moisturizer, or doing what I call a 'hard reset' and filing them down past the problem. I finally tried Probelle's Hydrating Base Coat and wow it has worked wonders. It has been a little less than 2 weeks of constant use under all my manicures and there is a huge improvement. All my nails are significantly healthier, and only one remains peeling- but it's rapidly healing. I cannot recommend this enough. Don't sleep on this, it is awesome!

I am really happy with this basecoat. I used OPI's natural nails basecoat for years, have tried a few others, but always went back to OPI's due to the high quality. I started painting my nails much more regularly. That, plus using acetone to remove the nail polish, has caused my nails to become extremely dry and brittle. I've added jojoba oil to my daily nail routine, but I needed something else, because my nails were still so dry and would break too easily. I am officially switching over to Probelle. It keeps my nails from becoming dehydrated, has improved their appearance when I'm not wearing polish, and also works very well in its basic base coat functions. Highly recommend.

I bought this because I've been having problems with very dry nails. I think wearing polish dries them out, but I don't want to go bare! I decided to try this to see if it would help. While I can't say it improves the parts of my nails that are really dry, it seems it doesn't make the problem too much worse. I've been using this for a couple of months now, and it seems the worst parts of my nails are growing out.I think it works well as a base coat. It's rather thin, so you may need two coats if you have texture on your nails and want a really smooth base. This seems to be OK. I can't say the base is any better than others I've tried, including OPI, but the performance seems equal in terms of how long my manicure lasts.Overall, I think this is a good product and it's worth trying out if your nails are in poor shape.

My nails always broke with nail hardeners but this nail moisturiser feeds the nail and my nails are finally growing.

I waited to use the product several times before writing a review. The base coat is very thin...much thinner than I am used to with other base coat products. I did not notice any improvement in my nails after several uses of this product. I haven't been terribly impressed with it as a base coat as my nail polish seemed to wear off at the tips the same day as applied. I admit I am hard on my hands/nails but I have much better results with Sally Hansen Big Base Coat.

My nails were soft and constantly splitting. This stuff is a miracle. My nails are strong and long now. I am never without this on my nails. I remove it every other day and apply a fresh coat. It also works great as a base coat under nail polish.

I bought this product with low expectations as most nail strengthened don't work make nails brittle and as soon as they hit an object snap my nail in half. This product appears to moisturize the nail. It adheres great and has not peeled. I wash dishes by hand and this will last me two days as eventually the polish rubs off a bit at the ends from wear. I am rough on my nails.

I started using this the day I got it and in three days I could see the difference no chipping or cracking of nails. My nail looks amazingly healthy and beautiful doesn't need color

I tried this for a little over 2 months before switching to something else. Didn't stop my nails from splitting and peeling like I hoped, though there was minor improvement compared to using nothing.Then I tried one of their other formulas and it is working pretty good. If you have nails that split and peel every time you bang the into something, I recommend the clear Probelle Nail Strengthening Base Coat instead of the grern Hydrating Base Coat.
