HENCKELS 3-Piece Multi-Purpose Scissors Set

I have used these 8 inch scissors in my kitchen for 6+ years. They are great for cutting chicken, fish, herbs etc, etc. They are a workhorse.But they are not perfect. They are suppose to be dishwasher safe. So i would occasionally run them through the dishwasher to disinfect. I probably ran them through the dishwasher 50 or 60 times in the last 6 years. The last time I removed them from the dishwasher, the plastic handle had cracked and fallen off. I am not really surprised because the dishwasher drying cycle is very hot and that can cause stress on the plastic that expands differently under high temperature than the metal underneath it.Anyway, I really wanted to replace them … so i bought this 3 piece set. The 8 inch scissors in the set are exactly the same as I have been using the last 6 years. So i am happy. Regardless of them not being “dishwasher safe”, I give them 5 stars because they are so good at cutting everything in my kitchen

We use scissors in the kitchen rather than knives for a lot of what we do. There is much less risk of injury. We bought some cheaper scissors and got what we paid for, poor quality. Henkels we trust.

We had a couple pair of old scissors in a junk drawer that get used for opening packages, wrapping gifts, the typical odd jobs that happen around the house. They were solid metal and pinch my hand when I use them. What I wanted was something that would last, feel comfortable in my hand, and not break the bank. Henckels makes good knives so I figured at $20 for the set it wasn't that huge an investment (to find out if they made equally good scissors)They have a couple options on Amazon ............ the blue handled ones like I bought (the cheapest) or some sets with a black handle which are almost twice the price. If you only need them for utility use I would just get these........they will last a long time and cut very nice! If you need them for work in a Kitchen do some more research and choose another pair.

The kitchen scissors is not very durable- I use it for light cutting- recommend buying the more expensive model

High quality scissors are always worth buying. These will last a lifetime. Blade quality is typical german fashion, and handle is excellent.

These scissors cut better than any other scissors I have ever had. I bought these three for my adult son so that he would know about these scissors too. I wish I had known about them when I was his age.

I bought a set (it was a 5 piece set) a few years back and LOVED the two smallest pair. I just bought a 2nd set, precisely to get the 4" scissor. Sorely disappointed. It just isn't sharp...I'd give it a one star...you can MAKE it cut, but it just isn't anywhere in the class of previous version. The larger sewing scissor and the kitchen shear seem fine. Makes me think that quality control is just not there...too bad. I'll make up my mind about returning the set.

Bought these for my elderly mom. She didn't want any that were huge or heavy. She wanted 3 pairs. These are perfect! Love the different sizes, not too big or heavy. Love the colour. Great name brand for the money!

Nicely finished and comfortable to use. Perfect sizes.
