Solid and economical cleaning cloth (purchased in 2011)
I purchased this cloth in 2011 and it's been holding up since even after roughing it up a bit in the washer and dryer. I don't play as much as I used to so I don't use it as often, but it takes off rosin just fine to this day.Anyway, don't put this in the washing machine and/or dryer on medium settings. It frayed the edges and caused the fabric to pill a bit as you can see in the picture. It still works great though. As others mentioned, the logo is fairly coarse. However, after roughing it up with the totally not recommended washing and/or drying, the logo is fairly soft. For $4 I think it's hard to go wrong.

These are the only cloths I trust to wipe down my violins after each and every use
One would think that a polishing cloth is simply no different than any other rag or cloth used around the house, but the Glaesel Orchestral Polishing Cloth is fundamentally different in its design and formulation. These polishing cloths are designed to be lint free and tightly woven to produce a cloth of the very highest quality musicians demand for physical contact with their precious instruments. I own four violins, average price is approximately $2,400.00 each and are constructed of the finest woods from around the world. I would not allow just any cloth to touch these instruments with the exception of the Glaesel Orchestral Polishing Cloths. Each of my violin cases has its own Glaesel cloth, as well as a special one used purely for the application of a spot of polish once per month on the violins I use most often. I purchase theses cloths for nothing other than my instruments and they are used until soiled and then disposed of. I do not wash them out of concern of getting a piece of sand grit embedded into the fabric. I understand that this sounds somewhat over the top, but the Glaesel cloths are as precisely made as my instruments to function perfectly.

The painted on logo is large, thick, and rough
I like these Glaesel polishing cloths... but the over-sized product logo eats up a lot of what would otherwise be useful polishing cloth. The painted on logo is large, thick, and rough, and could scratch a delicate surface if that large area is accidentially used. Thus, I knock off one star for an otherwise 5-star product.MACJR

Good cleaning cloth for a low price
Good cleaning cloth for a low price. It does leave little pieces of yellow lint everywhere though, including on the lining of my case since I had kept it beneath my violin in the case. Had to move it to the outside pocket which isn't as convenient, but it solved that problem.

BIG LOGO..... GREAT PRODUCT
This cloth is great for my violin! It wiped that annoying rosin dust right off! My only concern is the big logo that is not as soft as the actual cloth. Other than that, great product!

Good buy
It is very soft, and perfect for cleaning any instrument. I use it to clean my violin and guitar, and it does not scratch or abrade the instrument's finish. It feels like a softer "sham-wow", and it's great for getting in between the chin-rest and the body of a violin as well as the strings and the fingerboard. Note, this only comes in a package of one, but the cloth itself is very big and can be used to clean the frailest instrument.

Glaesal Instrument Cloth
The item is more than adequate for a 4/4 violin. Unfolded, it is very large, about the size of an auto polishing cloth. If need be, the item could be divided and used with two instruments, if the user is handy at binding up the cut edges to avoid later unraveling and lint from the cut edge (cutting with 'pinking' shears may suffice). It may be of such material that linting would not be a problem. I don't intend to cut mine.

Large, soft flannel. Perfect for cleaning violin.
Exactly what I was looking for. A soft flannel cloth for cleaning my daughter's full size violin. Thin enough to easily clean under the strings and chin rest, but just the right thickness to do the job well. Nice large size.
