Generator runs great now!
I looked at this adapter and I could see the wire size was bigger than what I was using. Sure enough, I plugged it in and have not had any problems since.

Hard to Find
A good price for for a hard to find item. The emergency generator plug-in at my house is 30 amps and it's connected to a 25 foot extension cord. My new replacement generator has a 50 amp output connector so, an adaptor was necessary. This one fits both sides, is reasonably priced and well made.

The right way to run Tesla RV extensions
This a much cleaner way to charge a Tesla when using an RV or generator extension cord. You must get all the connectors, cable sizes and other things right. Don't mess around with other unsafe ways of doing it.The 30 in these connectors is the important number. Never use cables that go from 30 on the wall to 50 on your car. 50 to 30 is appropriate but never the other way around. Never use cables that are rated for less than 30 amps (usually 10 gauge or better i.e. never > 10), with these connectors. You are asking for big troubles in your life. Or death.And get the right Tesla adapter. Yes. It will have 30 in the name.If you have any doubts Always get help.from a professional. And don't ever rely on anything written in reviews. Including this one.

Perfect adapter
I bought this so I could use my current 240v line, that would normally run to my generator during a power outage, to run my EV car charger. It works awesome now I have a level 2 car charger and if my power goes out all I have to do is unplug the adapter and plug back into the generator to power my house didn't even need an electrician its a great alternative to changing cord ends.
