Mauviel M'Passion Copper Sugar & Caramel Sauce Pan, 2.6-qt, Made In France

It's thick, it's heavy, and it's sturdy. I expect it will last longer than my kitchen will. There are only 2 downsides, and one of them is not the MFG's fault.1. Copper will tarnish, so there is extra care and cremes to be used if you want to keep it sparkly.2. The handle is quite robust, but it is still made of copper, and it conducts heat VERY well, so you WILL need a pot holder in order to touch the handle. Don't burn your hand like I did.

Love how heavy and sturdy this pot is. Just remember the handle gets hot! Other than me not paying attention this was a great buy

this pot is amazing!! I loved it so much I bought another in a different size. Heavy beautifuly made and retains heat as it should

Out the box this looks beautiful the copper is nice and shiny. The size is great for making small batches of candy the handle is large but it gets hot so get a oven glove or a damp kitchen towel.I'm trying new recipes and this pan has made the trial and error fun as cleaning it is not a hassle. Over time it will lose it's shine but as long as things continue to be made and not stick and fail ill continue to be happy with it. It's a tool it's appearance is not the key it's the functionality this can provide that should be considered.I'd recommend it.

thickness and quality of the copper makes this perfect for candy making

I really love the look and feel of this sauce pan and I have many Mauviel pieces. But this one started leaking from one of the bolts! I have no idea if I can fix it or if Mauviel will replace it. Mauviel, please if you read this send me one that is not broken and do better quality control. :(
