Cal 7 Combo with 139mm Trucks, Wheels, Bearings

My 8yr old son inherited a very nice skateboard from a neighbor. Problem was the board was set up for much heavier & more experienced rider. So, got this set & switched them out. These have a lot softer bushings & wheels. Let my son turn & control board better.NOTE: Seen many comments on bearings not going in far enough to put nuts on. You need to push the bearings in until they are tight against spacer. I push them in enough to get nut started. Then tighten them down until so tight wheels don't spin well. Lossen until you have the spin speed you want. (As my son is still learning a little resistance is not a bad thing.)Very nice set, P.S. my twin girls have Cal-7 boards & they love them - Good Brand

For the money these cant be beat. Bought to finish out a revive board for my wife. As a more experienced and heavier skater I would personally prefer harder wheels. Think these will flat spot fairly easily. Also the truck bushings are a bit soft but im gonna let them break in a bit before I try to tighten them more. The trucks seem straight and solid. Baseplate is a little thinner than other brands. But then again so is the price. I think they'll work out fine. If I have to swap the wheels or bushings down the line I still will have saved money. PS I didnt have the problem fitting the wheels over the axles like some other reviews. That made me nervous but my pair was fine.

My son's board needed new trucks, bearings and wheels. I wanted to get him quality parts and save money, and I was very happy to find this set from Cal 7. They advertise it as the everything but the wood set, and it was. New everything: trucks, bearings, wheels. The quality looks and feels pretty good, and the wheels actually look pretty cool. Installation was a snap and my son is very happy with his "new" skateboard. Hopefully everything lasts and provides great skating for a long time

You really do get what you pay for. Everything about it is decent. Good for skatepark skaters who like loose trucks. As a beginner skater, I bought this to save money not knowing too much about skating. I ended up just spending more money though for better wheels and bushings. The bushings were really soft to where you would get wheel bite if you turned a little funny which makes it hard to power slide. The wheels were terrible for concrete and rough surfaces. If the floor wasn't well paved, the wheels didn't really skate well. I skated on a slightly elevated hill with a penny board and would go pretty fast and smooth but I put these on my skateboard and was barely rolling down that same hill. Overall a good package deal for the price, and it even comes with riser pads. However, I would just recommend buying higher quality parts.

The product came neatly organized in a small compact box which I appreciated very much. It featured most of the hardware that I needed to complete my skateboard. The parts seemed to be of okay quality; not the best but will do for a starter skateboard.Also the set would have been best if it featured the grip tape but I know that they didn't advertise it on there. It was rather inconvenient that I had to purchase the grip tape from a different vendor.

Bought these for a secret Santa thing my work was having for impoverished children. The trucks seemed cheap but good for beginner. Didn’t hate the wheels. Bearings are ok. This is overall a good setup for a parent to buy to see if their kids will stick with it. Only recommendation is to TIGHTEN THE KINGPINS!! Too loose!!

Got these for my son so he can skate with me. The bearings say abec 7 but really like a slow 5. The worse thing is that either the axle for the trucks is to thick or the hole for the bearings are to small because the bearings wouldn't go onto the axle smoothly I used oil and force but overall not the best but better than buying something from Walmart. Oh and super loose trucks like daewon song loose

Good starter set to help with board swapping and repairing.
