Good product
I bought a new fabric living room sofa to replace a leather one I had had for over 20 years. My cat instantly found a new, large scratching post!! So I ordered this product & placed it on both ends & wrapped it around the lower arms area & this product has prevented her from ruining my new sofa. I'm hoping to take the wraps off soon since they've been on for several weeks, just to see if she has decided there's no fun trying to scratch this couch. Will try to reuse it if she returns to scratching the sofa. I did also invest in a variety of scratching post type items to place around the sofa to encourage her to use that instead of the sofa. Would buy again if needed.

So good I ordered more!
These sheets are great! So good that we ordered a second pack. Nice size, and can be trimmed to size. A good thickness to deter our little scratcher, but flexible enough to wrap around corners. Stuck easily without pins to our more plush furniture. Stuck on the less plush fabric as well, but by morning it was pulling away so we stuck it back on and attached with the included pins, and now all appears secure.

Perfect clear protection for leather furniture!
Just bought a new couch and it took me forever to convince my husband to buy it because we have 2 cats. I bought these protectors and didn't know what to expect and I'm glad I did because they are perfect! We bought a leather couch, so these stick to them just right and you can even reposition them with damaging the furniture. I love that they are see thru because our new couch is such a pretty color. We've had our couch now for a month and the cats haven't even tried to scratch where the plastic sheets are that I stuck to the couch. Not sure how they would stick to a cloth couch but they do come with fasteners, so I'm guessing it would work on cloth too. And the price is reasonable too, which is great.

Exactly what we needed
I needed these to protect our new furniture from kitty claws. They are doing the trick. I didn't use the tacks included, the adhesive is strong enough to stay in place.

Great solution for a temporary fix
These are good and bad. I'll start with the good. They go on pretty easy. If they don't sit right where you want them, you can easily just peel them off and start again as many times as you want. They are clear and fairly unnoticeable. The different sizes allows you to customize them to your furniture. You can cut them with regular scissors to your furniture. Now the bad. Yes you can peel them off and try again. But as any pet parent knows there's fur everywhere in your house so be prepared to see it everytime you peel and stick. Cutting these is easy, but cutting them the way you want? Not so easy. The corners of all the sheets are rounded. I don't know about your furniture, but my furniture had straight lines. I bought the XL sheets and still had to use at least five or six sheets for each piece of furniture just to cover one or two sides of that one piece of furniture. When I started out working on this project, I focused on the areas I thought our cat would most likely go to scratch and that we would most likely hate it the most: our leather couches and my fabric chair. We focused on just the corners of those two pieces of furniture that he could easily access that we couldn't cover with a blanket for the time being, and then placed scratchers around to see how he did. For the first month when he went to scratch, if he touched these sheets they worked as they should. He was weirded out and moved onto the scratchers. However, a month in he decided he loved my fabric chair and we had to put more sheets on it. That's when it got tricky. These sheets are not made to curve, so cutting them or moving them around to do so was impossible. The screws they provide didn't help me much. I had to cut the tiniest of pieces to fit those corners that these sheets just aren't designed to fit, that furniture naturally has. Take a look at the chair or sofa you're sitting in right now. Notice the armrest or the back of it. See how it curves, see the weird almost not rectangular shape the furniture maker created? Well these sheets aren't perfect squares or rectangles, so you'll need two or three to cover it, meaning you'll either have to overlap or cut multiple pieces to cover that one side of your couch. It doesn't seem difficult, but once you're on your hands and knees on the floor for forty minutes trying for the fifth time to realign this sticky sheet on your nice fabric chair without another piece of cat hair getting stuck to it, and then cutting it in the right way so it isn't going to have a sharp point sticking out at the top, you'll understand why I only gave it three stars. They're a great solution for a temporary fix.

So far, so good
Our cat is a menace when he wants to get fed. He scratches every possible surface to wake me up, including our snake cages and portable AC unit. He turns on my partner's computer with RGB lighting that faces right in my direction. He scratches my partner's computer chair. He uses me as a jumping board and landing pad. He knocks things off of surfaces, sometimes onto my face. No amount of spraying or threatening to spray with water helps. If we close the door, he scratches at that and meows constantly, so, it doesn't help. I've been trying for years to find something to prevent him from scratching at the door so I could finally get a decent night's sleep. I've thought of getting a retractable baby gate, but we're renters, so I try not to drill holes in the wall when I don't have to. They're also expensive. I've tried blocking the door and hallway with hampers or boxes, but he manages to move or get around them. Finally, after coming across an article on "products for cat owners," I came across this one. I know it's mainly for furniture, but I saw that someone else had tried using it on doors/windows, so I figured it was worth a shot. I installed them and waited for the chance to test them out. He hates them. He tries to tear them off and, at one point, managed to lift one of the corners up that was less secure due to the panel in the door. I taped it down and covered any places that may be vulnerable to his antics. He does keep trying to scratch at the door, but it's much quieter now and he has become less insistent. I think that over time, he will stop trying. I just need to be patient. But I was finally able to sleep in for once without being bullied by him, and for that, I thank the creators of this product.
