Just what I was looking for! I recall being able to find these over the cabinet hooks at all major Mass retailers but now they are no where to be found! Thank goodness for Amazon. This hook is perfect! I am able to hang 2 pot holders and 3 oven mitts on this hook! I don't know why I procrastinated so long from purchasing this, it was exactly what I needed.

No, like for everything else, there is good and bad and this hook is most definitely very good. This hook is intended for use on things like kitchen cabinet doors, not for large and thicker entrance doors. It is very well made. It has rubber lining on the part that hooks over, so avoiding scratches. It also has rubber on the hook part that makes it nicer to use. Nice low sheen metal and very strong. I use it in our caravan kitchen, for hanging a waste bag. But I find a better one for this purpose is the two hook version, from this same maker and which only costs about 50% extra. All sorts of uses can be found for it, (My examination and use of this hook makes me realize there is more to a good hook than I thought.)
