WacoalWomen's B-Smooth Brief Panty

good unders, short lifespan
I have been buying these unders for years and like them very much. They're snug and agreeable, and they come in so many colors that selecting one from the pile when putting them on in the morning is always a treat. But one pair recently suffered from a manufacturing defect. The rollover waistband detached in one spot, causing a lump that is both unsightly and uncomfortable. I wrote to Wacoal and sent them this same photo; they wrote back and said they accept returns only on items less than a year old. I'm very disappointed that they expect their products to last no longer than a year. Considering the kind of use underpants get, I would expect five or eight years from them. Perhaps I'm not being realistic.

Comfortable and fits well
I love the B-Smooth brief panty and have worn them for years. I detest thongs and find that panties that have a "waist" lower than my actual waistline are not comfortable; I am always trying to pull them up to my waist. LOL These always fit well, do not show under clothing, and keep their shape after multiple washings. I recommend them.

Not smooth at all
As a HUGE fan of the Wacoal B Fitting line (bikinis, things and high waist briefs), I was hoping these would be a good substitute after my beloved cotton panties were discontinued. But no. They are not.I ordered both the brief and the high leg brief to compare. I gave birth about three months ago and am softer than usual, especially in the belly. My waist is 88cm and hips are 105cm at the moment. I am 172cm tall and 73kg. I ordered a medium, hoping to wear them once the extra weight has been shed. I find them snug and unflattering. The waistband is a proper waistband. I am used to underwear with no constricting bands (lululemon mulabandha for example, or madewell seamless). This is asking for muffin top. I also find the legs dig in creating bulges. I'm a soft lady right now, but I've never had my underwear do this. I look so doughy. Also, the heathered grey is not nice. It's like a black space dye.Let me add that it's not uncomfortable. Nothing feels bad about the panties. They just look bad, in my opinion. The high cut version is super unflattering, but even the brief is a higher cut leg than I'd imagined. Also, the rise is awkward, either resting in the fattest part of my belly, an inch or so under my belly button, or giving me a wedgie in the back if I pull them up higher.I guess I'm just the gal who doesn't like these as much as everyone else. I think they'll be visible under most clothes, I feel them on my body, and I don't feel confident walking around in them in my house. I wish the B Fitting were still around. They were perfection.

Happy Customer - You get what you Pay For
Normally I buy all my underwear on sale at the clearance racks of Marshall's or Ross, and occasionally at Macy's. Took a leap of faith and decided to order these panties in several colors on line. I am 5'6, 165lbs. I bought the X-Large. It fits me beautifully, not see-through at all. So comfortable, doesn't ride up, and most definitely of superior quality. It is well worth it to pay a little more for this brand.

Most comfortable ever
These are the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. They don't ride up, and they don't cut in to me. Once I put them on, I never have to adjust them. And I work long shifts as a floor nurse. I don't like paying this much for underwear, but they are worth every penny. I usually run a size 18L in pants, I am 210 lbs and 5' 9".

How comfortable they are!
My husband bought some for me as a gift. I haven’t used anything else but Soma for MANY years, he was taking a real chance, and I was skeptical! But I couldn’t be happier with my new brand of undies. They are the most comfy panties I have ever worn! Fit perfectly, AND stay in place while offering some tummy support.

Very nice quality. Waistline could be a tiny bit looser.
I got an XL/8 because I hate anything tight around my waist. These are just a bit too tight, but I can stand to wear them if I pull them down just a bit off the waistline. Mine is 36". The quality is nice, though.

I like this style and I'd say the only disadvantage is that it might snag easier than a cotton product but the fit is good.

Great quality
Bought size L, but fit a little tight. Will keep because I have been losing weight. At first I thought, what am I doing, buying panties this expensive. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and how good the material felt on. I can tell you that Wacoal will now be my go to for panties. I will also try some of their other styles and their bras. Only wish Amazon would sell all their products and carry the great colours they have. I refuse to buy them through a third party and pay for shipping.

Very comfortable and great fit.
These fit true to size and are comfortable but I do think they are very expensive for what they are. I am not as keen on the fabric either as I am not so keen on microfibre but they are nice and smooth and will look good under clothes.
