I recently purchased this Range Hood for my kitchen and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The hood is quiet, which is a huge plus when cooking and entertaining guests. The sleek design fits seamlessly under my cabinets and looks great in my modern kitchen.But the best part is how well it works. The powerful motor quickly and efficiently removes smoke, steam, and cooking odors from my kitchen. I no longer have to worry about my house smelling like last night's dinner or setting off smoke alarms. The range hood also has multiple speed settings and bright LED light bulb I installed, making it easy to customize to my needs.Installation was also a breeze. The range hood came with clear and easy-to-follow instructions, and all the necessary hardware was included. We are remodeling after 15 years and we got a new electric range. The old hood fan unit needed to be replaced to match and because it was also old. After searching for a few days, I decided on this one. Glad I did. It was easy to install and the mount holes lined up with the ones from the old unit. I had to cut a hole because this comes with a rectangle vent hole but with a pair of tin snips (I know everyone may not have those but they are cheap to buy and maybe a friend has some) I cut the hole out in about 3 minutes.It is very quite (fan), bright light (bulb not included but they are a $1) looks high quality and the color matches the range just as pictured. I recommend this for the quality, appearance and price.

I have had this up for almost a year now. What I like is it wasn't too bad to install, which my son and I installed this and neither of us had any clue how to do that, but he followed the directions and we figured it out. I like the light feature. I didn't have a light in my very OLD hood previously. It doesn't seem to collect a lot of dust, so I am not having to clean it all the time and it still looks good. I find the fan when its on high to be a little on the loud side but I usually don't need to have it on for that long to be too much of a bother. I wish it had more suction when the fan is running though. That is my only issue. Its not that there isn't suction, when I put a piece of paper up to the fan area it sucks the paper the the screen, its just doesn't seem to pull up the air unless its right under the fan, and sometimes the lower speed works better than the higher speed it seems. It could just be the duct work and not the hood fan?? All that said, you get what you pay for and all and all for what I paid for this, I am getting my money's worth.

Easy to install and looks so nice.

I bought this to replace a similar range hood that's been in our house ever since we bought it 26 years ago. Old one was almond painted, and although it still worked well, it was starting to really look like crap, with paint worn off the edges and corners. And its underside was filthy despite being cleaned every now and then. Plus it no longer matched our stainless stove, microwave or dishwasher. This one is pretty much the same size as the old one, with the same light and two speed fan. Simple, and I didn't want any fancy crap or a larger unit as we have a limited amount of space. Also hooks up the same was as the old one. Surprisingly (given that some of the reviews complain about the noise), it is much quieter than the old one. Also, of course (since it's new) it looks a whole hell of a lot better. Otherwise, it's pretty much about the same as the old one. If this one lasts 26 years, it will outlast my wife and myself. And it is amazingly affordable. Definitely gets five stars from me.

Needed to replace an '80's Broan range hood in the bisque color which is hard to find these days. Amazon had it! A near copy of the original range hood it replaced which made installation easy.

Perfect! Easy to set up, you can set it up rear or top vent.Standard size for most range hood over standard oven.Beautiful stainless and the buttons are black. on-off for the light and uses any regular bulbs 40w to 60w.Just be careful when removing the vent metal panel (rear or top) i used a hammer and a pin gently removing the wielded parts as if you tryto just bend it, it can bend the metal on the back of the range.2 speed fan and it works very well so far for the price.
