Nowadays there are so many pundits who claim to know and teach so-called Hindu rituals, however, we need to be careful of where these self-styled guru-s got their idea. This Sanskar Vidhi, roughly translated as Knowledge of Passage rites, for Western audiences, must be equipped in every Orientologist and Vedic scholars, as well as secular Vedic ( wrongly called as Hindu ) families who follow the timeless principles of Veda (Rg, Yajur, Sama, Atharva).This book is very precise, correct, and methodical. Any one can do it. In fact, we need to realise, that no priest is interested in our welfare. We are the one who create our own Destiny. Vedic samskar (passage rites) helps us not only mentally, but also physically attune with Cosmic cycles. We love this book as it is very well written in both in original and English translation.

A must have book in your temple. I bought this book primarily to formalise Annaprashana ceremony. I must say it helped me a lot to gather relevant information, text and audio and detailed the whole process very well. The rituals were much more effectively performed than I would have randomly done in either case.I am sure it must be good for other Sanskar Vidhis especially when you stay where you have to DIY it.
