It works—I’m just concerned the magnets are too weak
The lanyard attaches easily to my earplug (I’d show it with both earplugs, but I lost one). I like that it comes with two lanyards, in case I lose one or I need to keep track of another set of earplugs. However, what I didn’t realize is that each end comes off and is attached to the main lanyard via a magnet (see third photo). This would be fine, but the strength of the magnet is worrisome. It is very easy for me to detach the ends of the lanyards without really trying. I think that the purpose of this is to prevent the lanyard from yanking your ears if it’s caught on anything, and that is nice. I am just worried that the ends will fall off too easily—for example, in my purse—and since I got these to help keep me from losing my earbuds, if the ends fall off a lot, it would kind of defeat the purpose. I guess it will take some use for me to be able to tell whether or not that feature is more convenient or more detrimental.Generally, it seems like they’d work for being able to hang the earplugs around your neck, or perhaps catch the earplugs if they fell out of your ears. But if the lanyard itself gets caught on anything, I anticipate needing to hunt for the ends. Which is preferable to damaging my ears, I suppose, but nevertheless isn't a perfect solution to my constantly losing the earplugs.

the middle part of these detach
nowhere in the product description does it mention that they come apart in the middle of the magnets.i'm still giving it 4 stars because i know this is on purpose maybe for safety, and the magnets are strong! it does take more than normal bouncing for those to detach.
