I used this to replace the male plug end of my RV shore-power cable after a poor fitting campground connector caused it to overhead recently.I also replaced the female end of my extension that this usually is plugged into.... JUST IN CASE!It is well made and while not the most heavy-duty out there, it will handle the job just fine!Don't take chances with an overheated/burnt plug... get this and replace yours!!

TT-30P is an electrical standard compatible with most campgrounds in the United States. This plug is a do-it-yourself replacement for a damaged plug, or if you're making your own extension cable for your RV — or Travel Trailer as the standard is named for.This plug is not extremely weather-resistant or heavyweight, but for a basic plug, the current Amazon listing price of $10 represents a reasonable value.

Not much to say. It’s a plug that you need for an RV. It works. Easy to install.

I used this along with a female end to make a custom 10 gauge cable extension for my travel trailer. The piece is solid plastic and was easy to attach my electric cable. I wish the end sealed better and leaves a gap around the cable sheathing I will probably put a dab of silicone there since this lays in wet grass, etc.

I had a 30 Amp extension cord that was given to me, but it had a bad plug and socket.I spotted this and ordered it. Easy installation, and works just fine.If I need another one in the future I would order again.

Large print instructions easy to follow instructions are included.Product Performance: I like most of this design, the terminals face the incoming wire and require just a little bend, except the ground wire that has a 90-degree bend. These terminals actually pull out and allow easy wire assembly, then just pop back in place, really easy. I did notice the terminals were somewhat expanded, see photo. I bent them more tightly to better snag the incoming blade terminals, that seen to work okay. The bushing fit the cord tightly and also fit the bushing entrance hole securely.Summary: Budget friendly fix found no defects.

Nice plug and its body it heat resistant so it will not melt under high amp draw. It was easy to replace and fits the receptacle just fine. I bought two one for a spare just in case I need one Sunday afternoon when everything is close.
