My old belt finally broke after years of use. Ordered it here hoping it was the same one and it is. I only use the black side but I like the buckle and how thick it is. High quality and will get another when mine gives out in however many years it takes.

4 things to know about this belt:1. It fills up the belt-loops on Levis. It annoys me when a skinny belt leaves space there. That just ain't right.2. It is stiff. That's a good thing. It means it feels and smells like what it is- LEATHER. There is no bonded stuff here.3. It is reversible. There is no need to look for a black belt when you are wearing black jeans or brown belt for blue jeans. One less thing to look for when I get dressed.4. The metalwork is first-class. That's what annoys me about some reversible belts. The metal suffers fatigue before the leather wears out. Don't think that will be a problem here.Come to think of it, it may be just a belt but there are several things that can still go wrong.

My carhartt belt that is similar to this broke and I had to get a new one. I wear brown all the time and at work I have to wear a black belt- thus the reversible belts work for me. The carhartt belt last 4 or so months before the metal buckle broke so I wanted to try a different brand. Compared to the carhartt belt, this one is cheaply made, a bit flimsy and the material is separating already after a month or so of use. 3 stars because it works and the brown and black coloring is normal, but I would not buy again.

when ordering the site says to order size 38 if I'm a 36 waist. I have to use the first hole and have a 8-inch flap of extra belt that starts bending out. I cut it but the screws no longer hold well and slip out from time to time. I'm thinking I'll order a 36 as I'm a 36 then maybe I'll have a 6 inch flap?

The belt started to separate on the very first time wearing it. This was my second try at this style and brand of belt. The first try the belt started to separate near the end at the belt buckle area after maybe 2-3 days of wear. I tried it again after returning the first one thinking it was just a fluke and I got a bad one. The second belt was so much worse.

Be sure to order a couple of inches longer than your waist size, I'm ordered for a 38" waist and the belt was 38" so I lost weight so the belt now fits. LOL. I needed to lose a couple of pounds and this was a good incentive.
