Works Well!
I really wanted this to work well and quite frankly, for the most part it does. However, it needs improvement to make it more versatile and worth the cost. If you are using it to deal Texas Hold-Em exclusively it's great. However, the group I play cards with changes dealer position every time a hand is played. While this dealer worked well in dealing the cards every hand I had to manually rotate the dealer 1/6th of a turn (game with 6 players) every time a hand was complete. If this dealer would have incrementally rotated based on the number of players, after each hand, I would have kept it. Based on the feedback from the other players and my experience it just wanted worth the cost and most of the players thought it was too much work. The card games I play also result in players being eliminated. This dealer does not easily handle the reduction of the number of players during a game. It also only shuffles the cards once before being ready to deal. To ensure the cards were mixed up well I would shuffle a deck manually a couple of times before placing into the dealer to shuffle. I didn't have the chance to use it for UNO or Phase 10 but believe it would have handled those card game excellently (with the exception of the dealer position changing after each round). The dealing function itself worked excellently. This could be your dealer depending on the card games you are planning to use it for.

Quality of life improved!
The media could not be loaded. There are YouTube videos that teach you how to use this dealer and shuffler in about 4 minutes. It does a great job shuffling, my deck has 116 cards! It's easy to tell it how many players you have and how many cards each of them needs. Has nice feet to sit on table, battery through 3 rounds of 5 Crowns is still strong - a really long card game - and has plenty of power left. And then the pods to click to draw a card - unbelievable, my friends loved it!

What a Relief!
My wife and I have a never-ending Canasta tournament going. I'll win a few games, then she'll win a few and so on. I got us a hand-cranked shuffler for the two decks that are needed for the game. But it gets old cranking away after every hand, especially since it needs at least seven shuffles to get the cards randomized all over again. She was dubious when I told her I had ordered this -- she had visions of the little mechanical dealer whirling about wackily spewing cards in every direction. We both were pleasantly surprised at how effective and efficiently this little beauty does the job! With just a few minor settings, we were able to easily calibrate the machine to deal 15 cards to two players. It quickly shuffles the two decks once they're loaded as often as your reload them. A touch of the button and the little dealer rotates back and forth as many times as you want. It has a lot of different modes and several different games it can deal. Honestly, it has a lot more capabilities than we will ever need. But you never know, we may take up poker next. This automatic card shuffler has made our game nights much more enjoyable. I guess if I have any gripes, its because where your load the decks could be a little roomier and that a couple of cards often get stuck in the holding compartment -- it needs a good shake to get them all out. But those are minor compared to the efficient way the machine shuffles and deals. Pretty marvelous! It's a great relief not having to hand crank two decks of cards before every deal.

Great! But absolutely unnecessary...
This is a really cool thing to break out on game nights and just random game moments to help shuffle and deal cards to all those playing, and it's especially good for kids. It's not really the perfect thing to get someone as a gift or to just get, because it's not really practical. Most of the time you could easily shuffle cards faster and get to the gameplay sooner, but I think of this more in the sense for those who have a really hard time shuffling or even might have a disability that makes it hard to shuffle or deal, but still really want to play card games. For those folks I think this is an amazing product and they should absolutely have one. It's pretty simple to use and adjust as needed, just as long as you keep the instructions for reference.Overall I think that this is a fun thing to have, and I would likely recommend it if you really love playing card games :)

Makes poker night with the boys a lot more fun
I’m a real fan of this card shuffler and dealer. It makes poker nights a lot more fun as you can focus more on hanging out and on your drink as opposed to deciding who’s turn it is to shuffle and who’s turn it is to deal the cards. Just drop your cards in the top and this thing does the rest for you.

Hard to figure out
This is a interesting device. It seems to be well made. The problem is that, for me, the instructions are very hard to see or understand. They are on a fold out sheet that is in very small print and my eyesight is not what it used to be. I ordered this as much for a gag for my friends as a real need. We get together each week to play Cribbage and drink margaritas. If we were playing a more complicated game I doubt that I would be able to figure out the machine with the instructions. Fortunately for me all the machine has to for Cribbage is shuffle the cards and deal out 5 cards to four players. Even with my rudimentary tech skills I was able to figure out how to get the machine to do that. I am sure a more tech savvy person can get a lot more out of this machine. I also know my friends will get a kick out of the novelty of this device.
