Fun!
We were introduced to SHUT THE BOX about two months ago and just had to have our own. So much fun. A great game for the entire family.

Fun game
Never played before so this was a refreshing addition to game night. Going to get a storage bag for it so I don’t have to keep taking it in and out the box. Can’t wait to make up house rules.

Awesome game! Good for learning math!
We love this game! It’s helping our kids learn math and recognize number amounts…and it’s exciting! Even our 5 year old plays! It is well made and feels durable and comes with lots of colorful and wooden die! Highly recommend!

A great game for campouts
I remember playing this game as a kid, and it was so nice to see it available on amazon.The set is well-made looks great on a picnic table by the fire.The game is fun, quick, and easy to play.I would recommend this game for anyone who likes to play games with groups.

Fun game, nicely made
This is a simple and fun game to play. I had never heard of it before, and was telling my son about it. It turns out he actually had the same game. We played it using both boards to compare. It is easy to pass the whole board around for each person to take their turn. We were using both boards at the same time, so just passed them around. This set includes two types of dice sets. The first set has 2 dice each in 4 different colors (red, blue, yellow, and green). The second set consists of 4 wooden dice. Both sets fit in a nice velvet drawstring bag.The number bars are easy to flip and oval shaped. The whole wood board is well made and beautiful. My son's board was a lighter color wood with square number bars. The oval cut seems to lend a slightly more "finished" feel to the game board which I like.It came with a velvet bag with the dice sets, a warranty info card, and a post card, plus the instruction booklet made out of heavy card stock. I do wish the instruction booklet would fit in the little square center section that houses the dice and warranty cards. The game didn't come with a lid, so you've got to keep the cardboard box it came it so the pieces don't get separated from the board.Overall, this is a fun, and well made game.

Fun game! Nice quality piece
Our family spends the summer up in a lake camp with no television, so we love to play board games. This game is easy to learn and fun. I am a retired Elementary School teacher, and this game would be perfect for helping young kids learn addition facts. It would make a good holiday gift.The game itself is nice quality. Everything is made of wood and the levers run smoothly. It stores easily in the box in which it comes and stacks in with other games or books. It comes with dice and a nice little storage bag.We actually tweaked the game and made up our own rules to make it more challenging for adults, which is easy to do. We used dungeons & dragons dice with bigger numbers, but you could also use something like playing cards or spinners. Definitely a keeper that will last for many years!
