I’d say the consistency is gloss like than oil but still lovely. There’s no plumping effect for me it’s a minty sensation what feels refreshing. Cute packaging too!

I'd say this is somewhere between a lip oil and lip gloss as there is some stickiness with it – just not as much as some glosses which seem to attract flyaway hair the second you apply it!It's an interesting product – it looks quite bright pink and sparkly in the bottle. Yet dab some on the back of your hand, it looks like just the vaguest tint of pink, almost clear. When you first apply it to lips, it still seems quite clear, but within about a minute it has darkened.It is quite a PINK pink on me, and not as natural as I'd usually wear. I almost wished it had stopped darkening about half way through, and it would have been perfect! I suppose the tricky part is it's hard to know exactly how it's going to look on you!? That said, I do find this really pleasant to wear. It has a lovely shine, without being overly tacky (in the sticky sense!).The oversized sponge makes for a quick but imprecise application, but it's fine as if you go over the edges of your lips, it doesn't really matter. It's not dark enough on facial skin to matter. Nice that it's two – you give one to your BFF or, in my case, my daughter.

This is rich shiny glossy lip gloss, with a beautiful soft pink hue it changes into. A lovely aslternastive to the solid lipstick green to pink colour changers we are used too

I already have a couple of these lip changing items but in a proper lipstick as opposed to a lip gloss. I first became aware that these even existed when I bought a gift set which has a frog prince green lipstick in and was so impressed with it I since discovered the Barry M one from boots but again they are proper lipstick consistency rather than a gloss.I like this as it hasthe same desired effect of changing your lip colour to a rich lucious pinky colour but as it is gloss they are super shiny and glossy and look really nice on. The bottles themselves are relatively small but great for popping in your handbag.

Quite small bottles but you do get two and the bottles look nice. The applicator in the bottles is not too large and is easy to use, I guess you could use a lip brush to get better definition. The colour change after application is slight, after a while the colour does fade to leave just a hint of colour on the lips.

So basically, this is a lip gloss that is tainted pink. Not an oil but a gloss. Feels sticky which is the one reason I don’t like lip gloss. With that said, of course your lip color will change and not because of your PH. Not what I expected. Will not buy again.

I got this for myself, and it was promptly stolen by my teenage daughter. Thankfully it came as a 2-pack. It is not sticky, and the color and moisturizing are both nice.

I know it says lip oil, but it's definitely more of a gloss consistency. There's no flavor to it, which I appreciate, and you get a subtle little color change after applying it. Don't be put off by the color in the bottle - it goes on a very sheer, shimmery pink, then slowly darkens your lips over time. I've only used it on myself, but since it comes with two, this would be great to get for yourself and a friend, and you can compare how the color changing color looks on you each! A pretty fun novelty lip gloss!
