This battery is working perfectly in my A7R iii. No errors, correct display of battery charge, and seem to hold charge very well! I don’t actually have a Sony branded battery to compare it to but seeing that you could almost purchase 3 of these for the price of 1 Sony battery I don’t see any reason to go with the name brand ones. Also very convenient to be able to charge them with usbc. I’d recommend!

I wasn’t sure if my Sony A7R V camera would rebel against these but they work as seamless as a Sony battery. No errors or messages, they just work. I have not measured it, but I suspect their capacity may be slightly less than the Sony batteries, but not by a noticeable margin. These have the huge bonus that you can use an ordinary USB-C cable to charge them, which compares favorably with the Sony batteries.For me, these are additional batteries that have a lot of value. They extend the utility of the camera in cold weather, they are good ordinary spares, they are easy to charge up, and they without issues.

Very convenient, works fine in the Lumix G9M2 and came with a battery cap, nice touch !

If you’re like me, you don’t mind looking for third party items from time to time, especially when on a budget. This neewer battery was a solid price and loved that you can use a USB-C charger to charge the battery instead of a charging case. I was nervous because my Sony A7IV gives a safety warning when using other 3rd party batteries but not this one. It displays the battery life and doesn’t flash a safety warning. It did one or twice but it hasn’t ever since. The actually drains at a decent pace, similar to my oem Sony battery. NEEWER definitely delivered, so if you need a budget friendly option, scoop one up.

The first time inserting the battery it seemed to not want to fully seat, but it did and since then has fit perfectly. I've seen no error messages yet like I have with a couple of other brands.Always good to have at least one fully charged battery with you, and this one can be recharged from a power bank.

Finally a battery that works with the newest firmware updates for Sony mirrorless cameras . I was so upset with Sony when I got my fx30 and none of my third party batteries would work. Well they did but every 20 or so seconds the message would pop up saying batteries are not compatible and it would not show the battery percentage. I love my Sony cameras but that was a pretty ignorant move on their behalf. Then I went and updated my Sony a74 and it did the same thing with my third party batteries. Now all my third party batteries that I have right now only working my a7r5. So I was looking for a third party battery that didn't break the bank and I saw some reviews on this Neewer battery and they said it works with the newest firmware updates. So I bought one to try out and praise the heavens it works perfectly. It shows your battery percentage and no error message. The battery seems to last as long as my OEM Sony battery so I'm happy going to buy a bunch more

Jared Polin thinks I'm dumb for buying this, but I'm not rich like him.I've had my share of 3rd party batteries, my last ones for my 5D mark 4 were off brand from Amazon. The weren't the best but they worked and we're very inexpensive.I decided to go Neewer for my new R6 MK2 batteries because the color is great looking and it makes it easier to identify the new batteries from my older ones. The USB-C charging port is very good for charging in my car, from a power pack or even at a venue should I forget my Canon charger. Brilliant idea.I do notice these do not hold a charge while sitting for a long time compared to my Canon batteries but they still will last for a good while (maybe losing 25% charge if they sit for 3 days) but that is still respectable plus I can charge these using my phone charger should that happen.Overall I will be buying more, I did an initial test and they work fine in my R6 Mark 2.
