A lot of the less than raving reviews are from people familiar with the Ordinary glycolic acid toner. When I opened the package and saw the Ordinary brand, it meant nothing to me. So, my review is not colored by previous experiences with the "real" thing...whatever that means.I initially treated this as a regular toner, which I use almost nightly. I probably should have read the instructions first. It was too harsh and drying on my skin for every day use and I would have known to only use it a few time a day if I had read the bottle first. My mistake.I have noticed that my pores are noticeably smaller, although, to be fair, I am constantly trying new skincare products. Once I cut down on daily use, it no longer irritated my skin. I find that it absorbs quickly and the scent is very light and not offensive.

The listing has no branding in the photos. It looked like a The Ordinary copycat, but did NOT use the name in the photos or description.However, the bottle I got has all the normal The Ordinary branding. Packaging has same info. Packaged the same way as the ones I've bought from The Ordinary.This is the "glycolic acid 7% toning solution". (The Ordinary has renamed it as "glycolic acid 7% exfoliating toner " but I don't know if they have updated boxes and bottles yet. On their website their product photos are NOT updated but the name of the product IS updated.)So everything is correct when I compare it. I'm not noticing any difference using it. It is darker toned than my current The Ordinary bottle. But I've experienced some color variations in previous The Ordinary bottles. Anywhere from almost white to a yellow color.But, what is it? The product doesn't match the photos, or the product description, and with the extensive the Ordinary branding, I just don't know what to think.Giving three stars because it seems to work fine (so far it works just like The Ordinary I have at home already) but I'm unsure if it's real or not.

The Ordinary toner has been very gentle on my skin. I have very sensitive skin and have to be extremely careful when choosing a toner. This one has been perfect. It leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated. It has almost no smell. I have been using it every day for the past week and it has had no adverse interactions with my oils or lotions. It feels cool and fresh when I apply it.I have been very satisfied with this toner so far and I will continue to use it. Highly recommend.

I use this toner before, and this is very different. It's not real.

Great value as the bottle is quite large. The product has minimal smell and is excellent at cleaning out my pores and leaving my skin glowing. I use it daily without irritation. This is a recommended toner especially if you have sensitive skin.

I didn't expect this to be The Ordinary brand but that's what I received. It's darker in color than what it normally is, but I can say that I've seen variations in color in the past from that brand of product, as well. It works the same, and it was factory sealed in original packaging for the ordinary. I'm comfortable saying that I received a name brand product and it is exactly what I expected for it to be for that brand.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toner comes in a bottle with a regular cap. It also has a twist open spout that is packaged in the box in an ingenious way.The toner has a very light scent, that dissipates immediately. It feels good on the skin. I use it on my bumpy chin to hopefully clear it up.The Toning Solution is made up of the 7% Glycolic acid, Amino Acids, Aloe Vera, Ginseng and something called Tasmanian Pepperberry, that is a new one to me.Be sure to wear a sunscreen when using this product.
