Our Quick Release Fire Extinguisher Mount was designed specifically for the off-roader that was looking for a more refined trail rated fire extinguisher mount. When we looked at many of the fire extinguishers on the market we noticed a big gap in quality, price, and most importantly—durability. Many of the fabricated fire extinguisher mounts were rough, sticky to operate, and had sharp, dangerous edges on them. Then some of the other billet fire extinguisher mounts seemed quite fragile and appeared more for the hot rod market than the hard use 4x4 market. And let’s not forget the cheesy hose clamps that many of the other fire extinguisher mounts require. Rapto Worx has developed an affordable and very rugged version that will serve off-roaders well. Based on our Patent Pending Roll Bar Clamp System this fire extinguisher mount can mount to a plethora of roll cages from 1.500” to 2.25” tube diameters. We also have incorporated a rugged 3/8” steel T-Handle pull pins for the locking device, as well as stainless steel and zinc plated hardware.The fire extinguisher mount can be purchased without a fire extinguisher, with a standard chemical fire extinguisher, or with a Halotron Gas fire extinguisher option.Rapto Worx also offers a ‘Bulkhead’ mount option for this system as well.  This kit has all of the options as our standard systems but with the removal of our roll bar clamps.  This option is for customers who wish to bolt the fire extinguisher mount directly to a bulkhead or possibly some custom fabricated brackets that have been welded to a roll cage. Please note that our fire extinguisher clamps have been sized specifically for the Amerex 2.5 Pound fire extinguishers.  There are many extinguishers on the market with different cylinder diameters, and not all fire extinguishers will fit in our mounts.
