Brings a 2008 Yukon XL into the modern world.
This literally only took a half hour or less to install in my 2008 GMC Yukon XL. The most time was spent figuring which combination of audio cables and harness plugs would make all of my speakers and amp work, including the back speakers, which was still as easy as plugging and unplugging until I found the right combo. No splicing or crimping or anything like that. The unit itself has very nice features and great sound quality. Built in GPS map is fine as is with no need to connect to internet maps. This also connected to my iPhone with zero issues via Bluetooth and CarPlay. All in all a great upgrade at a very reasonable price.

Cheap radio
The resultion is bad, the UI is very slow and the Bluetooth connection is tricky. And this would be I guess ok if it play sound. Mine played no sound no matter how I hooked it up. Trash

Rear speakers weren't working. Company sent information to correct the issue.
The rear speakers not working. I emailed them and they sent me info to correct the issue. I cut the brown wire on the 16-pin connector and the rear speakers worked.

Plug and play!
Definitely a great upgrade for the price for my GMC truck. So far I’ve no problems. Apple CarPlay works well. Enough attachment points in the back I was able to plug in my amp and it all works good.

Rear speakers won’t work
It’s actually a nice unit for the price and had a lot of different functions but the rear speakers will not work with this unit no matter how you wire it up. I’ll be returning this and finding a different brand.

Good for the price
***Update**** as of 4/22/24 the internet connection is weak i can only watch abouy 10 seconds on youtube before it starts buffering and will not connect back,it does this over wifi connection and over phone internet sharing as well, and before it would work perfect.I just installed it on my 07 silverado on 2/19/24 and it was literally plug and play,so far the cons are that when watching videos on youtube the image is too dark sometimes you dont know what you are watching also for some reason the volume goes way low in quality compared to listening to the radio station but i guess for the price its a good unit, also for some reason the weather icon always says 120°f.

Helps make my ride more modern. Easy installation - good instructions
This stereo is a great option if you’re looking to upgrade an older Chevy or GMC truck or SUV. The 7-inch touchscreen is sharp and easy to navigate, and with Android 12 running smoothly on 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, it handles apps and menus without lag. CarPlay and Android Auto both work perfectly, giving you all the modern features for hands-free navigation and music. The built-in GPS locks on fast, and Bluetooth connectivity is stable for both calls and streaming. The DSP helps fine-tune the audio for a much better sound experience compared to stock. Install was pretty straightforward, fits nicely in the dash, and all my steering wheel controls still function like they should.Overall, it’s been a reliable and budget-friendly upgrade. Definitely recommend if you want to bring modern tech into your older Silverado, Tahoe, or Sierra without hassle.

You get what you pay for.
Bumped up from 2 to 3 stars to be fair. It does fit very well and it does work. It’s not the best quality, sound quality is so so and the eq works poorly. It can be slow with the limited processing speed and amount of RAM. With that being said, it is very usable, and got me a radio quick and cheap for $150 with all required harnesses.Advice: Upgrading for quality? Spend the money on a name brand from the big name car audio brands. Upgrading just because you need something quick and cheap? This is fine, but look at all the options. This one may not even be the best of its budget class.PS: as an Apple user, android audio is kind of a learning curve. Basically feels like an android tablet in your dash.
