Honestly don’t understand people who complain about the smell! There’s virtually no smell! But I have been using it since newborn to present (10 weeks old), and baby is breastfed. Maybe the odor will be more noticeable with a baby that’s only eating food. Use the original diaper bag and remember to change the filter. 10/10

This diaper pail has been a great help to me. It's a good size, easy to assemble, and extremely durable, from the pail to the diaper bags. It's completely airtight, so no odors escape. I bought it recently, and to be honest, I should have bought it since my baby was born. I highly recommend it.

This might be the worst $80 I’ve ever spent! It DOES NOT keep the odors from the diapers inside the bags or inside the genie. When removing the inner bag, the device continues to reek. We’ve tried replacing the bags daily (which is a complete waste since they’re less than half full). The only way we’ve been able to get rid of the smell from the genie itself is to drench it with Lysol spray & prop the lid open for several hours. Then, as soon as we put another diaper in, the smell immediately returns. Therefore, I highly recommend you save your money & refrain from purchasing this particular model.

This diaper genie is the best! Contains the smell, maybe need to empty once a week. Great price, easy to use, holds up to 30 diapers and you can tuck it in a corner easily!
