Gateacre and Belle Vale: Britain in Old Photographs

I bought this for my 99-year-old mum who wads brought up in Gateacre - the house was even pictured in the book, and she was mentioned, too, which was a huge surprise. Mum dips into the book constantly and I have also sent a copy of it to her sister in Canada who is equally delighted.

Excellent book. I bought 3 as Christmas gifts. All 3 people lived in Gateacre in the 1960's and will find the book very nostalgic. Great memories.
