I was really excited to try this product because I have struggled with being nocturnal for years and was super eager to finally fix my sleep schedule once and for all. I am sober, have never been drunk or high, I'm sensitive to everything including caffeine & sugar. I'm also not accustomed to kava as I've only had it once before, over a year ago. So I started out by trying just 1/4 of a packet at night as part of my bedtime routine. It helped me feel so relaxed and reach that "ready" feeling much quicker. Usually, I feel like I need to do xyz (shower, stretch, read, etc) in order to feel sleepy enough, but this really helped with that. I increased the amount to about 1/3 packet per night, and that really provided the sweet spot for me. I'm sure a full packet would be a fine amount for most people, but for me, it was just right since I'm so sensitive. It is very conveniently packaged, which was perfect because I did a bit of traveling during the holidays and was even able to gift a packet to a friend and relative.

I'm not much of a drinker, never have been. But I did enjoy a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. However, I started to notice that I was having a lot of neuropathy pain in my legs at night. As I read up on it more I found that alcohol can be a trigger. So, I decided to go without to see if it helped. I saw ads about Kava so I looked into it. Admittedly, the taste is a little strange at first. You feel a little bit of a film on your tongue at first. But, it gives you the same effect of just a mild calm buzz but no neuropathy!

I’m looking for an alternative to end of the day glass of wine—something to curb my anxiety… The Strawberry Watermelon is pretty good tasting. I dunno if I was expecting a more serious benefit from this considering the price point, but I don’t see enough of a benefit to justify the price of this stuff. I actually found a drink mix on Amazon called “Recess” that is effective and is way more affordable. I don’t get drowsy from the Recess drink mix and I can tell I’m not as edgy at the end of the day if I drink it around 2-3pm. This Kava stuff didn’t perform as expected.

I bought this product because I struggle with anxiety. This product really helped give me a sense of calm and peace whenever I began to feel anxious. The main ingredient in this product comes from the kava root, which is a plant from Asia. I liked how these packs are easy to take on the go and can be packed easily in a pocket or a bag. I don’t think they work as well as the cans of kava though.

Do not buy!!!! If I could give it a -100 score I would only picked a 1 star because I couldn’t post without picking a rating. It does not relieve/reduce stress or anxiety, it does not promote relaxation. The only thing it did was make my water taste horrible.
