This is a simple (passive) mechanical switch.It's not a splitter, it's a switch, so you'll only get one channel active at a time.I use it in reverse, which is to say that I'm routing one input to two outputs.I have the "output" used as an input, coming from my DAC, and I have the "inputs" as outputs, going out to my headphone amp and my powered monitors.It works great and adds no noise to the setup.So if you need a passive A/V switch, with two ins and one out OR two outs and one in, then this is the box for you.

I loved this thing. Simple and old school. And worked great. Until today. Channel 2 just died. Something in the switch and/or the wiring of the board inside—no longer making a good connection, so no sound. In 3 months I would have had it for 3 years. I guess I got $12 worth of use out of it, but it's a shame.

Works great, has a low profile. have my record player running through it with no loss of sound quality.

Get what you pay for I quess. 2 weeks and doesn’t work.

Not much to say about what this does and how well. It's a Switch that I use on my desktop setup to change between outputting audio from my computer and audio from game consoles. The unit is a little light weight for my liking, but pressing the button makes a rather satisfying THUNK to let you know that it switched. Me likey.

Good switch, but you have to hold it when you push a button.
