I kept getting ads for Lume on YouTube. My mom and teenager swear by this stuff. I know someone who was struggling with really bad body odor, and after using it, they smell great anytime I see them. So I figured I'd try it out. I got the lavender sage whole body deodorant (cream) and the stick in the same scent. I will say I will probably do a different scent next time. It might just be me (I'm diagnosed autistic, a lot of us are very, very sensitive to smells) but there's this very slight funky smell underneath the sage and lavender scent, especially the cream. Once you apply it to your body though, it goes away in a few minutes. I'm assuming it's one of the ingredients. Other than that, Lume is pretty perfect. The stick I use on my underarms, keeps me dry and smelling fresh for at least 48hrs. The cream is the same, I use it under my breasts, groin area, and in between my buttcheeks as suggested by one of their amusing commercials. It's very gentle, even on sensitive skin.Bottom line, I highly recommend this brand. I'm not a man but I can sweat a lot too, so I think this would be great for everyone and I'm recommending it to anyone that will listen.

The pine scent is my fave, it prevents ANY stinky stress sweat from remotely coming out and yes it does last. Can even apply it on if you can’t grab a shower & super natural. I like the solid the best b/c and quickest but the tube cream and the clearer pump up one do as well. People say ‘didn’t smell good out of tube’ but any odd smell SERIOUSLY goes away once to where it & it lasts long. It works with anyone’s body’s chemistry. Love the pine, lavender, and Peony….& yes they work on the privates too, lol. Don’t have big boobs or skin flaps so can’t speak for under that area but could safely assume once that area is cleaned and dried it should work great. I’m a nurse and Lume is great. Better than Native or other ones that don’t have the similar ingredients. Esp mimicking Secret! U know how many respiratory chemicals/potential cancer causing airborne and skin items are released with compression spray from any can?. Not good!

So just being upfront, I am a stinker. I sweat and have BO, and have been trying to find a natural deodorant that would work with me. After I gave birth to my son, I started getting the hormonal night sweats like I was going through menopause. My MIL highly recommended this deodorant. It does work. I don’t think it’s a good natural deodorant, but it is aluminum free. I got the soft powder, and it smells odd. I can’t figure it out. It did cover up myMenopause like night sweats, but I was still wet. I don’t think I would buy it again, it was pricey too

After taking hormones I was noticing body odor and I do not want to use clinical deodorant with metals in it so I ordered Lume. It absolutely works!!! My only gripe would be that the scent isn't great (I got the cucumber/mint). It's not bad; and you can't hardly smell it after it goes on so no big deal but I'm used to being able to smell my good smelling deodorants for hours after I put it on. Nonetheless; I would rather it work and NO smell than it smell amazing and not work!!!!

A small sample pack of the tangerine, both solid and cream were given to me and I found that the solid did work, depending on what I was doing, for about 12 hours but I couldn’t deal with the overwhelming smell of sour, like rotten fruit sour. While the cream was completely revolting with it’s musky undertone that the solid didn’t have. It also didn’t seem to work at all. I have always been a mosquito magnet with type o blood. But I have, for years, after a bath, used certain essential oils with my almond oil and shea butter moisturizer (homemade) and I never get bitten! Not since I started doing this. The tangerine Lume overpowered the protection I have relied on for years, that has never failed me no matter what else I wore! No matter what detergents or perfumes. That tangerine Lume made them swarm to me in the millions! Literally! But I desperately wanted to give the coconut a try since it’s one of my favorite scents in the world. I guess you are only worthy of smelling good if you have more money than most do when disabled and continue to have to fight through what life can throw at you. I couldn’t purchase individual items. Can’t order the .5 oz samples individually and without a way to get to stores, no one available to pick anything up for me, my only option was to spend a ridiculous amount of money that I desperately need for other necessities? Well, now out of deodorant completely. Used the last of my regular, go to and then can’t order that because of the extremely high price I paid for this order of coconut Lume. I will say, it smells absolutely amazing. No way the fragrance In this stuff is close to all natural! You can’t make essential oils from coconut. But I was filled with hope that it would do what it says on the ad. 72 hours of protection!? I really would have been happy to get the 10-12 I got from the solid tangerine. First night it arrived, I bathed and completely dried and cooled before applying. Trying both the cream and the solid. Cream on my left side and solid on the right. Just to see. Unlike the tangerine, the 2 smelled very close to the same. No musky, gross undertones in the cream, in either! And I was absolutely delighted that they smell so good! Had my search ended!? How would I ever afford to make this my regular product?! By hour 6 of just sitting in my very chilly home, I couldn’t smell it anymore. I have hyperosmia so I don’t go noseblind to anything. I could smell the tangerine even after bathing, still on my skin! Okay, so I reapplied just to enjoy the fragrance. The next day I wanted to do a few things outside so I wanted wet hair to stay cool. So I went ahead and completely bathed just to test the coconut deodorant and it’s actual ability to do what it’s supposed to. Dried and cooled with my wet hair in a braid. Applied both again, as before. Within 30 minutes of mild sweating outside, I couldn’t believe how horrible I smelled! Truly! Even my dog wouldn’t come near me! This is with my normal regimen of almond, shea and essential oils on the rest of my body where I didn’t apply the Lume. I’ve now tested this stuff in various ways and have found no protection whatsoever! I actually smell less when I didn’t apply it at all, before sweating! And I could have bought 9 of my regular deodorant or eaten an entire week on what I paid for this!? I feel belittled, insulted and betrayed right now and I can’t get my money back?! I will say, it’s texture was nice and soft. But the sizes for the price are ridiculous. And I guess destitute, disabled and poor people don’t deserve to even try to smell good unless willing to sacrifice things they need to survive. Oh! But the coconut did not attract any mosquitoes and my regular, effective methods to repel them worked as normal. So whatever fragrance they use in the tangerine definitely is enticing to those creatures! It is a scent scientists insist mosquitoes are drawn to. Now I can’t risk trying any other scents, this was such a huge loss for me.
